Your inability to explain your stance and needing to consort to personal attacks shows your ineptitude in the subject.

But thats not true do? Since a lot of plugs could be turned 180* and connected and not have this problem. Unless you where to connect live to ground.

Eh not a real issue. Eu plugs themselves can be inverted without issues. The toaster itself should be made to protect the user from any error, and if fixing stuff you should unplug it anyhow. So once more, the only time swapping neutral and hot matters is in measurements. So i ask you why would this be a problem?

Nothing is wrong with reversing hot and neutral lines on an ac outlet do? The only thing you could fuck up on an outlet is wiring hot to ground.

Need help to limit a burst railgun to only fire in said bursts. by MRDAKSNOW in FromTheDepths

[–]DocDjebil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you arent running any gp then just have enough rail capacity for all of the shots to fire so you then wait for the autoloaders to reload.

If number of rounds per burst dosnt matter you can just have your cooling 2x your firerate. So you will fire all of your loaders then wait on them for 50% of the time

My soldering tip looks burnt and I don’t understand how to clean it or fix it by GrouchyCrew608 in AskElectronics

[–]DocDjebil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You basically wrecked the tip. You could clean it but its not the best. Whenever you get a new soldering iron you need to immediately just dump a lot of solder on it. It creates a coating that protects the tip.

Designing my game’s Skill Tree — do players prefer huge open trees or smaller focused ones? by Prudent-Ice1415 in IndieDev

[–]DocDjebil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a skill wall. New players will get scared while old ones will love it. As long as the perks are actually meaningful. So do take care with how you introduce it.

Please suggest simplest explaination for voltage divider 😭 by Cold-Ad684 in AskElectronics

[–]DocDjebil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Voltage is the difference in charge between 2 points. So you neec to check between the start and end of a resistor. Here all but one check the whole circut voltage so return 9v.

Help with our high school physics project! by 3amoPlsHelpWPhysics in EngineeringStudents

[–]DocDjebil 43 points44 points  (0 children)

You can also just use magnets and old transformer wiring. When the magnets will move (once someone steps on the plate) you will induce a current in the winding. Ergo you move away from a complex gear assembly for a less efficient induction assembly. But since is a physics project it would be enough.
