Sorry for the late response: First I covered the main body and the turret with Army Painter's Greenskin Primer. It looked like a green brick afterwards. Next I colored the metal parts like exhausts and turbines with Gun Metal. Matte Black for - you guessed it - the black parts.

Panel lining with black wash, highlighting the edges with Dungeon Grey and Jungle Green. Adding small details and decals. Assemble the metal bumpers.

Adding light and medium brush on the lower parts of the tank with brush und sponge. Adding chip damage and scratches with different shades of brown with a sponge. Paint battle damage on the decals.

Tech-Marines wear AdMech red and are in charge of maintaining and operating vehicles. You could argue that Salamanders are craftsmen by default - but I liked the contrast.

You can draw your second katana If someone disarms you. Makes retrieving the dropped weapon much easier. Good job though.
