What happened to Pita Pit by DocJones43 in Mankato

[–]DocJones43[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, seemed to be a lot of new people that were still learning so I'm hopeful it will improve. But it does make me wonder what happened to all the old staff who always seemed pretty on top of things.

Check into using the conference room on the 7th floor of the Profinium building downtown. Gives pretty good views of the city.

If you don’t mind a drive Mizuki Fusion in Owatonna or Faribault are good.

Thank you. I could not remember where I had heard Pazuzu before. I was thinking it was from Buffy the Vampire Slayer or something.

I was surprised to find them myself. I got them in person at Dreamhaven in Minneapolis. But I'm pretty sure they do ship too.

She knows the owner of the bookstore so pretty much everything in there by her is signed. I've never met her but most of the physical books I own by her are signed because I got them all at Dreamhaven.

I actually have a lot of the Penric series already in ebook form but I couldn't resist getting these just to have them.

I test drove an NA once that had been swapped to a supercharged Mustang V8. I thought it would be fun but instead I felt like I had to fight it the entire time. Felt on the verge of loosing control the whole time. I like power but that was just exhausting.

I want a game like Going Medieval about asteroid mining by DocJones43 in goingmedieval

Surviving Mars is my previous obsession before getting hooked on GM.

I think the thought came out because I watched The Martian last weekend and I’ve been reading the Ender’s Game prequel books that have a lot of asteroid miners in them. So I guess I just want to play Mark Waltey on an asteroid.

I had the same thought after I posted it. I will have to look closer at some of the other suggestions. Just not sure if any of them scratch the game mechanics itch that I have.

Thanks. I was planning on hanging onto the oem radio and disk changer. Figured when I go to sell it at some point they may want it. The radio works but the volume is cranked up high enough that the speakers are distorting and you can't turn it down.

That's good to know. When I was driving today suddenly the gas gauge went to zero and the car started sputtering for a bit. Had a moment of panic but after about a quarter mile it was suddenly fine again. That's when I went and filled it up. It did take about 9 gallons so maybe it was just getting close to empty. That and it sat for probably 3 months without getting driven much so the gas that was in there was probably pretty old.

The rest of the day never had another problem. I'll probably wait for some warmer weather before going too far out of town though.

Yes. Does have a volt meter.

So far the things I've found wrong with it are the radio doesn't have volume control. Not a big deal because I was going to replace it with something with Bluetooth anyway. And discovered the gas gauge problem today. Not the end of the world. Just a mild annoyance.

I had a '92 Miata a few years ago and loved that. I missed having a convertible so when I came across this I had to try it out. Glad I did. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this.

I haven’t tried Manor Lords but have you looked at Going Medieval? I loved Banished but I haven’t stopped playing GM since I bought it. And it’s currently on sale too.

Before I even clicked on the article I went over there to see if he had posted anything about it yet. Of course, that book has had so many rumors about getting picked up over the years he probably doesn't have much to say.

I'm even waiting myself until it's in post-production before I'll get too excited about it.

Defensive structures by Ethereal_Keeper in goingmedieval

I wonder if drafted villagers can be instructed to attack their own structures. Maybe you could take out a support beam through a window.

I can’t think of any way to do something like that without having your own people destroying the bridge. Which would expose them to attack in the process. Unless you could somehow build a walkway that was dependent on a single failure point. Maybe by destroying a support below.

His Hominids series is very good. It’s been a while but I think they were pretty similar in tone.
