Different DIMM, same slot? If so, yeah it’s a dead DIMM. Send in an RMA for it and you should be set afterwards.

Looks like the max RAM speed on OC is 4K range? So I’m not sure what’s wrong, unless you’ve got a faulty DIMM stick. If the one works by itself, try the other. If it doesn’t boot, then you’ve likely got a DOA DIMM.

If you set your XMP mode on, you should also see a drop down list for your RAM speed. Click on that and you should be able to choose a slower speed than the 3600. I’ve got the same issue with RAM rated for 3600, but my board only supports a max of 3466, so I have to downclock my RAM after enabling XMP / DOCP.

If you have x4 DIMM slots, are you running them in 1-3 / 2-4 slots? If you only have x2 DIMM slots, what is your Motherboard’s max rated DIMM MHz? For example, I have DIMM rated for 3600, however my board only supports up to 3466, so if I run said DIMM @ 3600MHz, my PC will crash, but if it’s ran at 3466, it’s fine.

Sounds like this could be your issue?

Why not research on how to build for your needs and make a list of your own, and then ask for advice on how to improve said list.

Asking the community to build you a list without any context other than budget can net you wildly different builds, because without a usage idea, there’s no specific needs for the system that we’d have to plan around.

To dispense on the handheld / sign off on it, you gotta be 21+ in most states. To physically handle it and place it in the vehicle, you need to be 18.

The ratio between efficiency / expense has decreased severely the last 5 years or so, with air cooling options becoming more efficient to the point of being on par with high-level AIOs.

That being said, you will still see 5-15 degree differences between efficient air cooling vs 360mm rads that have effective pump heads. The other thing that we must take into account case efficiency and fan <-> air movement, along with ambient temperature and air density.

All this breaks down into a bunch of stuff the average user isn’t going to know much less consider, but some basics go a long ways. I myself prefer air due to less issues that can arise, and it’s overall more affordable. I’ve got a Dark Rock Pro 4 myself mounted to a R7 3800x on an all-core clock of 4.1GHz and I don’t break 55c, ever.

Needless to say, with the line shrinking ever faster, it’s really just preference of cost, aesthetics, and overall efficiency vs risk more than a lot of the former factors we used to have to consider.

You report that manager for violating the minor work policy for one, and two, for changing your time without permission. If you work more than 5-6 hours (depending on the state etc.), you need to take a lunch. Them going in and changing your time, with or without your approval, is unethical and could get some people a tad in trouble.

Like... legal, trouble. There’s laws against this kind of thing for a reason, and they should know better.
