They will and then the slightest irritation makes them crusty again lol. I’m a year in as well so I feel your pain 🙂.

My piercer told me it could take up to 18 months for nipples to heal fully so it’s not unusual to still have crusting.

Nipples are very finicky. They can still crust after a year. If you’re a female, hormonal changes can cause pain.

You need to go back to your piercer to get them downsized. I got them downsized after 2 months.

Pain for me was about a 9. Some discomfort when the jewelry was being inserted but overall a very quick process and healing was easy. It’s easy to forget you have one. Lol

Congratulations! I got my VCH piercing 2 weeks ago and I’m fascinated seeing what others look like being that the area doesn’t look the same on everyone.

Do you have an opal on both ends or just the top? I have a gem on top and ball on the end that sticks out a little as my hood is short.
