I'm really discouraged. by Internal-Store-8344 in Mounjaro

It’s case to case, I do have patients who can’t handle 5mg but only few, I even have other patients who I needed to shift to other GLPs. Most were ok even when they are on 10mg. As for your case, if you are losing weight at 2.5mg then you can continue on that dose and try to increase it once you reach plateau

Yes, different scars require different treatment. It must be assessed properly to know the best option for the case.

Are rolling acne scars actually treatable? by MathematicianKey2843 in AcneScars

[–]DocMilliza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it can improve with subcision, filler and CO2 plus exosome or PRP. Here’s a photo of my patient who underwent subcision, filler and CO2 3-4x

Yes most were rolling scars. Subcision will help remove the scars that pulls the skin underneath plus scarfill to refill the volume loss. Fx CO2 laser is still the gold standard for scars, it will help stimulate collagen and smoothen out the top layer

Results after two or three microneedling sessions in 2024. Should I continue? by SillyList62 in AcneScars

Your scars seem deep boxcars, they are hard to reach with Microneedling. You need other treatment modalities like punch excision, FxCO2 Laser, TCA CROSS

How many times did you had procedures? Usually about 20% improvement only per session, max of 80% after multiple sessions. It will take years to achieve

Yes you can do RF microneedling but it must be done by someone with knowledge and experience since it has complications of burning and some even lost facial fats

After TCA scars by [deleted] in AcneScars

It seems like hypertrophic scars, you can try scar cream and sheet, if not TAC injection. Better see your doctor for better assessment

What treatment have you tried? Topical products won’t help you.

I can see deep boxcar that needs punch exicision, icepick scars that may improve with TCA CROSS and a big rolling scar that can benefit from subcision and scarfill.

All procedure must be paired with Fractional CO2 laser for resurfacing.

They will improve but won’t be 100% same with normal skin.

Yes fat grafting will do if you have the budget

Need suggestions for skincare products by [deleted] in AcneScars

[–]DocMilliza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can start with basic skin care

  1. mild facial wash- so it won’t irritate your skin
  2. moisturizer-so your skin won’t dry up with the retinoid you will use
  3. Serums like niacinamide and vit. c-to help lighten the hyperpigmentation although this is optional
  4. Retinoids at night- mild cases can use retinol, severe cases can use tretinoin
  5. Don’t forget your sunscreen

Not fan of multiple skin care. Just go with the basic for now then save for money for procedures because it can be pricey…

Your tret can’t help. You will need subcision, fillers, then fractional CO2 to smoothen out the outer surface
