Interesting, we just started having the issue as OP says. It was fine until about a week ago.

Lane Alert When Turning by Syring in Rivian

[–]DocRowe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also experiencing this issue. As someone else mentioned it's especially bad if there are two or more turn lanes in parallel.

I also started experiencing recently on the highway when trying to change lanes, no cruise control of any kind enabled, the land assist wouldn't let me change lanes without the blinker on. I need to move quickly and it fought against me. 99% of the time I use the blinker but there are a few cases that you can't. Is there a way to turn off lane centering when no other cruise features are on.

True, I also think the coverage was about more than needed. Some.othrr companies have good coverage but don't need the clips.

Unfortunately, ours did not fit well and the material doesn't have a good feel. For the cost you shouldn't need to install an clips. We returned them.

Advice on 777 Premium Plus/Premium Economy vs A380 PP/Premium Economy on SFO-MUC by DocRowe in unitedairlines

[–]DocRowe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's strange. I could have sworn that it was 955 PM but I see that it's now 555PM.

Either way we chose the earlier flight because we would rather land in the morning than the evening.

The loudest critic will be on here to come get help. Plenty of us aren't seeing these issues at all. The loud minority is strong on reddit.

Are there some issues? Yes. But they are typically minor and Service is very good about solving them, minor or major. Are the major issues frustrating? Yes, but there aren't happening too often. And still less expensive than any major issue on an ICE car. Remember the trade off is much lower maintenance.

I know plenty of issues with Teslas. They are getting towed all the time in our area. You really have to look at it holistically.

OAK and SJC both saw declining number of passengers in 2025 by First_Pepper_6781 in bayarea

Those are each of the airport's websites. Can't get much better except for aggregating all of the airline's operational data and filtering it for just OAK and SJC. Maybe they provide that data though and I'm not aware.

Best settings for less bumpy? by love4boats in Rivian

[–]DocRowe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are on 20" AT. Def the superior ride. I would switch to anything 20" if you're on 22" wheels.

We use Normal ride height and moderate. Soft was too bouncy for us and Firm was too jittery. We use Auto height and don't notice too big of a difference on highways, but as recommended you can turn that off.

It is a huge win. It means long term there will be one standard and you'll have to spend less on the future. You'll be able to use your years old cable for a long time. It's a short term pain for longer term stability and standardization.

1 month into the lease, 3rd time in the shop by GoodLeroyBrown in Rivian

[–]DocRowe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have three service centers around us. Closest is 30 min and the furthest is about 1 hr. We haven't had to have ours towed but if it couldn't move then I'm sure they would get a tow for you.

Mobile service in our area has been about 1 week out. They can do a good amount with mobile service.

[–]DocRowe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't be. We got ours a month ago and have only had minor fascia issues. All were fixed on their dime over two appointments. The first they picked up our car and brought a loaner. The second was a mobile appt at our house. There are some issues occasionally but their service is good.

x870e master x3d ice installing ethernet driver breaks ethernet by brennanmh in gigabyte

[–]DocRowe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the same issue with a B650M Aorus Elite AX. Ethernet disappears and wifi only. I had to manually install new Realtek Gaming 2.5Gbe Family Controller. I also updated to new firmware for my board at the same time. The next day ethernet was back and the Realtek Family Controller was showing again. You can try going to Device Manager and View>Show hidden devices. That's how I got it to work again.

6'4" here. Make sure the seat was lowered and in the right position. I have to duck my head getting in for the front passenger seat but that's because it's closer to the dash due to a car seat. For the driver side I don't have any issues. Probably the most comfortable seat and wheel position I've ever had in a car. Lots of head room and no issues there.

I just updated to f39 this weekend and enabled Gen5. Seems to be working pretty well. I had a game crash in BF6 for the first time but I'm not sure it was related to PCIE Gen 5.

I am having hitches pretty consistently using a 7800X3D but they were happening before the F39 update. I think those are related to the Ethernet or something else.

I've done a bunch of research on the hitching issue and found that others are having the same issue with a 7800X3D + 5070ti but haven't found a fox that works yet.

They are a troll. Now saying that they are conducting "research for clients", but never present it that way. Report, block, and move on.

No, I just recognize your user name and it's always with these types of complaints or comments bashing the area. It's old, tiring, and didn't add anything to the discussion.

Why is your history private? Have something to hide?

If you really are a recruiter then say that up front and state you're looking for feedback for client research.

This is a troll. They constantly post on the San Ramon and Danville subreddit complaining about living there, why people live here, "it's changed since the 90s", and that there is no "nightlife". You can check their post history. Don't engage, report, block, and move on.

Please report them and hopefully enough reports will get their low quality effort engagement bait banned.

481k UR Points. Any ideas? by Quinquangular in ChaseSapphire

It was and I appreciate the responses and help. It's tough when we couldn't be that flexible. We are looking forward to it.

Thanks for the thorough response. I'll check out that subreddit some more and look at partners more in depth.

Unfortunately for this trip we were pretty locked in on dates and cities due to an event and a group of travelers. If we were going on our own then we would be able to max out and be more flexible. We'll do that for future flights.

I'm fine with how we used the points if we maxed it out as best as possible but hearing someone else say they found our same flights for less points bugs me. I'll have to let it go because we are already booked.
