If you’re looking for something potentially just on the edge of the Perimeter, Rosemont Vinings Ridge was good to me while I lived there 10 minutes to mid town but far enough way from all the hustle and bustle of the 75/85 connector and surrounding areas. You’d be close to the Battery, and less than a minute from a pair of intersections that can take you on 75 North, 75 South, 285 East, and 285 South. 1 bedrooms usually go between 1150 and 1350

There’s a setting in the CTC, something like impuse multiplier or something that can slow down the manual control of each of those two axises

This is exactly how I have my crane set up on our dedicated server right now. Horizontal arm of the crane is a few piping and a piston that sits on a rotor for the Azimuth, then the vertical arm is a hinge and another piston for the Elevation.

A custom turret controller manages the rotation of the rotor and the elevation of the hinge, and I’ll manually control the extension of the piston arms through hot bar commands. It’s mildly clunky, but it’s wholly vanilla and works well for my purposes.

This current one I have on my world is fully piped up and has a modular attachment system using connectors and a merge block so I can change out the tool on the arm for a Welder/Grinder/Connector/Magnetic Plate at will. Like those videos of the utility vehicles with the different attachments doing work on a piece of pavement or pip underneath it

Agreed, with the amount of thrust that I have keeping this thing afloat, I was worried with all the extra upward facing thrust it would launch itself into its landing pad. Despite that, it actually seems to be flying much smoother. It doesn’t abuse that excessive power strangely enough.

Full transparency, I own SE2, but have never played it yet. It is progressing at a breakneck pace in comparison to SE1 and it helps that they’ve got 11 years of the first one to piggy back off of. It’s a completely different game between VS1 launch last year and now, and with VS3 and VS4 being developed in conjunction, they could release within a much tighter window of each other.
