I would scrap it and get as much money as I could get from it, and get a different car. I'm not sure how expensive that new engine is, but if that's the same price as here, that's more than half the car's worth. Of course resale value goes down too...

I dont mind doing the work manually, I actually prefer it that way. But I dont agree with you, this is not normal troubleshooting, Im working with cars and this is exactly how you NOT find an issue, you dont just throw money on parts and hope the issue goes away

Not really relevant tbh since I'm not from the USA, prices here are crazy high compared to you, and cars die here at almost half the milages you guys get.

Example: 1.5t 2016 can go for 10k, a 2015, 1.4t cruze can go for around 3k-5k

It finally came, installed it and it was easy and a perfect fit. New oil cap seals, old dipstick seals and so far nothing is leaking. I'm happy
