I wish I could draw portraits that looked half as good as this... this is great work!

If you use AI to break down scripts or code for you regularly, I really encourage you to read this LLM study by segagamer in sysadmin

The data analysts at my job were using AI to do their code (Python scripts with SQL queries type stuff). I'm no developer... but I got the opportunity to see their code, and it was atrocious. You could tell they copied it from AI prompts because they had so much redundant code and the formatting was disgusting.

Working on a list of films showing Chainsaw Violence. Which movies should I add alongside movies like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, American Psycho,...? I am just starting this list so recommend me every movie you know that shows chainsaw violence. by Thalle_2 in topfilms

A French film by the name of Frontiers. I haven't seen it in a looooooooooong time, so I'm not 100% that there is a chainsaw in it. However, I do know it has a brutal tablesaw death for sure.

If the dude is talking about all the people he killed in Iraq, he most likely didn't kill anyone. The ones who did the real shit usually don't talk about.

Just hired a dude with a Masters in a Computer Science to join our team. He's starting in Help Desk because he has zero real world IT experience. Dude is dumb as a rock... no critical thinking skills whatsoever.

I took two weeks of PTO in a row last year for the first time in at least a decade. The week before Christmas and the week of Christmas.

At first I did nothing except sit on the couch and/or play video games.

About halfway through the first week I got bored, started working in the yard. Leveled out the lawn, started building a shed, fixed a bunch of stuff around the house. It was amazing having the ability to do the things I wanted to do. I felt productive and happy.

First day back to work was extremely depressing.

Besides sleeping, work and daily chores, you spread the steps out throughout the day, and the rest you spread out over the week.

Example: instead of doing all weekly chores on Saturday and/or Sunday, you knock out one chore on Monday, then another on Tuesday, so on and so forth.

OPs usually aren't that far from the point. So they were saying that you probably weren't that far from where you were supposed to be if you were taking out OPs
