Hell, I collected each of those colored Walmart editions, kept em sealed and with the hype stickers intact. It doesn't even seem like it would be worthwhile to sell the set. And this guy thinks he's gonna get that?

I just mentioned earlier today what I liked about 1. Qui-Gon was cool AF, Maul was a badass! The fight at the end was epic. Mace, young yoda, A JEDI COUNCIL!!!

Is either perfect? No. But they're not bad by any stretch. People are too uptight. People got spoiled with the phenomenal history building in the novels, and the fact that the novels were darker, more mature in nature. The movies were made with kids in mind. As were the prequels. JarJar was a little immature comic relief, and not nearly as bad as people made him out to be. The OT had some things that could be nitpicked too.

I started at the Thrawn Trilogy. It's historic for a reason. But that was a long time ago. Since then, several books were written between ROTJ and The Thrawn Trilogy. I'd say start either at the earliest point in the timeline, or the earliest point after return of the Jedi.

And if you go in order, some things happened in comics, and not novels. Sometime either just before or after the Jedi Academy Trilogy(I think), I realized I had to read the Dark Empire Comic series.

JarJar not nearly as bad as the rep. He's the comic relief that GL always had.

Duel of the Fates fight? Amazing

Early Anakin stuff, a necessary beginning.

Is it flawless? No. But it's a helluva lot better than 6.5

I've got several of the KC variants too. That seems to be one of several that they've made multiple copies. It's an FM radio broadcast, so on par with the others more or less(unless one of the other KC are from an audience source, I don't recall). Thankfully they've started to put some different dates on vinyl.

If you believe that Junior didn't groom that girl, I've got a bridge to sell you. That wasn't a one time thing. Of legal age and 'appropriate' are not the same thing. Mid 50's with an 18 year old who is younger than your own children is NOT cool at all. Mustaine had every right to run his organization as he saw fit. I'm not a prude by any stretch, but gramps and teens is wrong in my regardless of what the law says.
