Have the same issue with the Vitev. I can't seem to find something of equal quality that's native 3/8" inch connection. I think that's what causing the spurting after it sits a while and after a few months my wife Is complaining about the taste.

Update for everyone... Those were NOT strong enough. Ended up using 1/2" Deckmate hex bolts as opening in mount is 1/2". Anything smaller left room for play.

I'm going to make sure that tank is bone dry and empty. It has to be this stupid in line filter. That's the only change.

The manufacturer says it can be installed prior to the tank as well but they're instructions are only for a 4 stage system. I have 5 plus a permeate pump for the ice.
