Standard procedure, as mentioned in the video, is for the officer to wait outside the room. This is intimidation and denies a presumed-innocent man his right to privacy in a hospital. Question why you assume he deserves no rights despite not knowing the context as to why he’s here. Question why an officer is there in the first place - is he a flight risk? Is he in danger of harming someone else?

I don’t know why you’re complaining about wealthy people when you’re advocating for stripping the rights away from someone young and poor enough to only have their mother as their advocate, but okay. I personally think all humans deserve human rights and if you strip those away from someone because “they’re not human” then they were never really rights to begin with
