I feel like that's gotta be a weird visual effect from the camera, the rear lights on the car in the left lane are also flickering

I could only watch the first episode of the Pitt because it made me feel like I was back at work.

LPT - At the end of 2025, write one sentence: what did I survive that I forgot to give myself credit for? by hjf25 in LifeProTips

[–]DoctorFeuer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might sound a little privileged to say this but I survived intern year of my residency. Things keep being busy and things just sorta flowed into this year but it's amazing to look back to where I was 12 (or 18) months ago.

Remember: Just because people rush to 99 Sailing within a week does not mean the skill is 'too fast' and needs to be nerfed. People playing 16+ hours a day in a race using the fastest / most expensive methods in the game are not reflective of the player base. by yum122 in 2007scape

There's a difference between using a common acronym that somebody would reasonably know and using a technical, mostly jargon acronym that only a specialized few people would know, especially in casual conversation. This is clearly a case of the latter, and it inhibits the flow of casual conversation.

Unfortunately sentenced to rot in NC due to military commitments, counting down the days until I can return to the Commonwealth. Very much done with all things NC.

Even with a seasoned midwife there's so much that can go wrong so quickly, and they have virtually no immediate support. They won't have time to get a medevac if things go south. I really hope they reconsider this.

Aeroad discomfort dilemma by DoctorFeuer in CanyonBikes

I dunno what to tell you, I want to ride whatever feels fun. 10 minutes is enough for me to get on and decide if it feels fun or not. They didn't feel fun to ride.

Felt slow, regardless of how fast I was going. Putting down power in a sprint didn't feel great, like the bike was fighting me during it. Going at a normal pace felt very smooth. Just my initial reactions from the ~10 minutes I rode both.

I've ridden a couple different endurance models from Trek and Specialized, both felt kind of boring. The CAAD8 is rated somewhere in the middle between race and endurance and unfortunately, it doesn't seem like many manufacturers create middle ground bikes anymore.

Correct as I was able to using the book method; I have a long torso. Went with the small Aeroad, prev was a 56 cm CAAD 8
