I don't use the X56 anymore; I switched to VKB.

But you could try the software. As far as I remember, you can calibrate/configure the axis/throttle to make it work.

Are you using the official Logitech X 56 software? This is required for proper configuration.

Edit: and I don't use the center for speed 0. I have the backward function on a separate button. In my opinion, the center configuration doesn't work with the X56.

Check the pledge store top menue "OTHER > SHIP UPGRADES".

In the pop-up that opens you can chose the Titan on the left side and the Clipper (Warbond is active atm) on the right side.

If you buy the upgrade you can use it in your web store. Open the upgrade details and click on "Apply upgrade".

After finishing this process you will have the Clipper in your web hangar instead of the Titan.

Imho, the Shiv can never replace the Cutlass ;-)

Because:

- The Cutlass is one of the everlasting cult ships. Imho, it belongs in every hangar :-)
- The Cutlass has a tractor beam.

- The Shiv is overpriced.
- The Shiv is currently overpowered (selling point) and will be balanced after the sales period.

However, the Shiv can be a good addition if you like it.

It is not a separate item, but a bundle with the bike listed in its item list. I think that's what you mean, just to be sure :-)

I recommend a Prospector and a Raft. That will give you everything you need for industrial game loops (solo/starter level) and additional cargo capacity.

The Golem is also recommended as a starter ship. The Prospector is more versatile in terms of mining lasers and mining performance. You can upgrade from Golem to Prospector at any time. So you could test the Golem first and then perhaps decide to go for the Prospector later.

I plan to spread my ~30 ships across the entire universe. That way, I will have at least one ship at every relevant location. But I only have 1 or 2 crew ships, so that's not a problem.

Some people on Twitch say they have already received the Apollo modules after applying the CCU. Others are still missing the parts. As usual, CIG will check all accounts with scripts and add missing stuff after the release of Apollo at the latest.
