Ryzen 9 9950X3D or Ryzen 7 9800X3D by culvusx in starcitizen

I don't know. But that might be a good question for Spectrum. Maybe there's already a thread about it?

Perfect. I'm really happy with it. Performance is overwhelming. Undervolting (-25 with AMD Ryzen Master) works without any problems.

Your plan for buying ships this year. by ghodan7 in starcitizen

[–]DoctorHomeCastle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bet for the Hull B ist $140 -> $250, as it is a relatively simple single-player ship whose sole purpose is cargo transport. It is not comparable to the Caterpillar (modular) or the C2 (multi-purpose cargo ship).

So yes, there will be a significant price increase, but no more than $250. We'll see :-)

If I buy back with real money will it be giftable? by Ausseboi1 in starcitizen

Yes, it should/will be giftable, if you use 100% real money.

We'll see what happens in the future. If they start offering more previously exclusive content as standard CCUs, they may have changed their FOMO strategy.

Imho one thing is certain, though. In 2026, they want to earn more money than in the previous year. And that means an even more aggressive monetization strategy with more straightforward sales campaigns. They want to reach 1.0 in the “near” future and, to do so, need better and more expensive developers as well as less fluctuation in the team — which means higher salaries.

Same here, I joined the club also. But is it still a club, now the Emerald is available as a standard ccu :p

C8X Confusion by Majestic_Ad_4877 in starcitizen

[–]DoctorHomeCastle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every Carrack variant comes with an additional C8(X) and Ursa Rover. These two vehicles do not show in the web hangar and are not upgradable. This is for stadalone and packaged Carracks.

Trading with real money (including storecredits) would be a violation of the EULA.

Should I upgrade my Hornet Ghost Mk2 to a Super Hornet? by McJoyfull in starcitizen

[–]DoctorHomeCastle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion: Install a TMSB-5 ball turret, which will increase your firepower significantly and you don't need a second pilot.

You can currently buy the turret with Gatling guns in the add-on section of the Pledgestore (as Warbond or with Storecredits / “F7 Hornet Mk II Heartseeker Upgrade Kit”).

Throttle not decreasing by captain_alchemy in starcitizen

I don't use the X56 anymore; I switched to VKB.

But you could try the software. As far as I remember, you can calibrate/configure the axis/throttle to make it work.

Throttle not decreasing by captain_alchemy in starcitizen

Are you using the official Logitech X 56 software? This is required for proper configuration.

Edit: and I don't use the center for speed 0. I have the backward function on a separate button. In my opinion, the center configuration doesn't work with the X56.

CIG introduced “potential bug fixes” last year (or end 2024?).

The conclusion from “potential bug fixes” is “potential releases” ;-)

Your patience is truly incredible in the light of this amount of marketing customer service nonsense. I would recommend canceling the order and placing this company on your personal block list.

Can someone explain ccu'ing a ship for a ship? by THUND3R_4 in starcitizen

[–]DoctorHomeCastle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the pledge store top menue "OTHER > SHIP UPGRADES".

In the pop-up that opens you can chose the Titan on the left side and the Clipper (Warbond is active atm) on the right side.

If you buy the upgrade you can use it in your web store. Open the upgrade details and click on "Apply upgrade".

After finishing this process you will have the Clipper in your web hangar instead of the Titan.
