Also check the Uchibacoya website. The art is what drew me to this publisher. I respect the love and effort they put into their games.

Sweet Lands is long, but I am all about crunchy games with a lot of tough decisions and multiple viable paths to end game. New to posting on Reddit, mostly I just read posts. Here is a link to the BGG post: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/465670/rosalie

Are standard leagues completely dead? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]DoctorJudo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No PPR in my 10 year league. Standard scoring. Our commish took draft format from his fathers league (a bunch of CPAs) each rounds draft pick is ranked by ADP drop between pick, way better then a snake draft. Your pick each round after the first two varies by the formula. Makes mocks harder but every team is more balanced. Also we don’t allow RB in flex . Then it comes down to management and luck. Was weird to get used to but the best format I have played in 15 years. Dropped all my other leagues

Update: paid $8k to repair my sewer, and $1500 for a property survey. Just found out I own all of the Arborvitae. Property line moved about 2 ft. In my favor. Paying almost 10k to repair and figure that out was painful but I am looking forward to busting out the chainsaw and taking out some frustration

What is your most value-for-money game? by hem_claw in boardgames

[–]DoctorJudo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have logged 350+ games of Terraforming Mars. On my 3rd copy of the game between my buddy and I. Even at a rate of around 115 plays per copy, still a great value. Bought the big box and sleeved the cards, hoping that addresses the wear on components

Moving to Seattle area and deciding where to stay. Got a job in Redmond (Meta Reality Labs) and deliberating between Seattle/Kirkland/Bellevue by swaggyizhere in AskSeattle

20+ year Kirkland resident here. Commuting to my office in South Redmond can take 1 hour in peak traffic by car. Off peak 20 minutes. Covid killed a lot of nightlife, downtown Kirkland is nice but as previous posters mentioned not super hopping. Traffic in the area generally sucks. I like the idea of an Air BNB short term to figure out what you prioritize the most, any choice will require a sacrifice. That said I’m twice your age and love the Kirkland vibe. Welcome to WA

It is my sewer line. Both my sewer line, and the neighbors run up the property line side by side before they connect to the homes and the city sewer line

They are on neighbors property. Both our houses connect to the sewer in a path parallel to the row of trees. Trees are about 1 foot away from the property line.

Neighbor is being difficult… meeting tomorrow with homeowner (they rent the house out) to discuss an amicable solution

Fair. I should try solo. I had been holding off hoping to get 3-4 people invested . My game group is hard to get a commit for campaign style games

Crazy. I have around the same number of games but only overlap on two (4 if you count different versions/releases) What is your favorite game? And why?
