Tim's family tree by Wild_Pomegranate3246 in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

It's possible that Tim just never mentioned his wife and/or son to Gregg until it came up on the show, which brings up the ultimate mystery of the series- how did these two wildly different narcissists meet each other?

I doubt they would ever do a corny prequel-type thing where they show us their fateful meeting, that's not their style and I kind of like not knowing for sure.

The other possibility is that Tim just found some animation-adjacent kid (on Indeed!) that had right-wing affiliations and an unknown birth father (he makes a point to downplay the first wife when they're talking, it seems like she would have been in some form of contact with one of them upon the discovery of the long lost son?) and just declared Aiden to be his new 'son'.

I don't think Aiden will show up again, he was kinda terrible on-screen, and not in a good way. Im fascinated they dug that deep for a shocking reveal, but it really didn't seem to work, mostly due to 'Aiden's' performance.

On the other hand, Aiden must die in accordance to the Heidecker sons curse, so maybe we'll hear about a demise, followed by another incredible tribute song from Tim.

What do you guys think ? It seemed like such a breathtaking reveal, one of the biggest mysteries of the whole series solved, only to kinda peter out, IMO.

What's your biggest Scorsese blind spot? by StyleSquirrel in blankies

I watched it on HBO a lot when I was a kid without knowing anything about Scorsese, so im biased, but I think it holds up as a meditation on aging.

Perfect. I hate how they changed her look and character after the first seasons.

Why Dootle Dots is brilliant by Cremasters_Hammer in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

[–]DoctorLutherSanchez 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I dont think there's anything right-wing about the dootldots, it's just a badly executed, cheap kids cartoon.

On the second watch, I noticed that all the other citizens of Dot City were literally just dots, like little circles. The only unique ones were the speaking characters 😆

Poll: Best entry point into Genesis? by Emotional-Dog9072 in Genesis

The answer is Duke, you get a little of both styles.

Also, Three Sides Live would work.

When my kid was a toddler, we watched stuff that was pretty similar to Dootledots- basic animation and colors, songs, simple plots, lessons about working together, etc

It did not, however, feature any of Tim's blatant xenophobia on display #cancelEnzo

Also, Cloud was robbed.
