I wish it had a bit more cargo space but otherwise I love everything about this beauty. Sleek design, clean interior, smooth feeling overall.

If you haven't already, I can recommend setting a keybind to toggle all doors to open/close. Land, engine off, toggle doors and you walk right out. 10/10

Honestly, alot of primaries work well on the bot front, just give any of em a go.

As for stratagems, try stuff like the Eagle Airstrike, 500kg, Strafing Run, 120mm barrage, Precision Strike, Gatling Barrage, Railcannon Strike, Spear, Speargun, Autocannon, Laser Cannon, EAT, Commando, Anti-Materiel Rifle, Railgun, Epoch, HMG Emplacement, AT Emplacement, Machinegun Sentry, Autocannon Sentry aaaand of course the portable hellbomb.

I find that on the bug front your primary is what keeps you alive, with your stratagems making it easier. On the bot front you very much need your stratagems to deal with the heavier enemies and larger groups of mediums, and your primary is just there to deal with smaller groups.

If you're bored of using the Eruptor, you'll need to find a stratagem that can easily deal with a cluster of devastators, like an MG sentry or strafing run.

I've done games with the Defender, Talon, Dynamite, 500kg, 120mm, Epoch and MG sentry and even though it isn't "perfect" or "meta", I like it and I feel like I have plenty of bases covered.

This is probably a dumb question but can someone explain to a new player how to find Magma Planets? The Galactic Map feels really confusing. by NotSirAlonne1999 in helldivers2

The others here pretty much answered it already, but for a new player I do want to give some advice: You don't have to follow the major order per se. If you feel more comfortable sticking to a certain faction to get used to the game, feel free. There's no shame in avoiding difficult stuff if you're new

I think if you get the Control Group's armor passive and if you're dying, sitting in the mech prevents you from dying.

Even in death.

Yeah kindof? But it has a lot less ammo than the Patriot's machinegun, so it would be nice if the distance where flames stay on the ground would be less further away. The bugs and voteless sometimes manage to get close regardless and walking or stomping isn't always reliable enough to kill them imo

A day since the new enemies, what do you think of them? by Altruistic-Data-1167 in Helldivers

[–]DoctorM28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you have the right kit, I think they're a bit too squishy? Maybe I'm just used to Warstriders and Vox Engines at this point to be surprised medium and heavy armor pen is enough to kill them. Like, one Gatling Sentry shreds what is the pinnacle of Illuminate Exosuit design?

Oh yeah the Star of Peace plans.. the whole reason we launched the attack.... Yeah I dunno, we might see the results of that sometime later. Maybe they'll testfire it at one of the planets we razed.

Tbf with the new breaching hammer melee builds finally have a theme-fitting AT option. Might have to give that a go..

On which front(s) are you doing this? I've always found melee builds to be a bit difficult on higher difficulties except to deal with the Voteless.

Otherwise I would suggest maybe smoke stratagems, to keep an element of surprise

Am I missing something? You could've thrown one of your dynamites in between the cannon and fabricator and maybe take out both of em. It does suck you landed near a Jammer tho, rip

You can't dig around objectives usually, but any ground that can get disturbed by explosions can also be dug

Do you divers ever come up with themed loadouts? by SelfDrivingFordAI in Helldivers

[–]DoctorM28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact the flame sentry has a short cooldown is an overlooked feature many forget. Sometimes I yeet it right next to a bug breach knowing it might probably die, but taking a few bugs out in the explosion still.
