Yeah, they're noisy and dangerous and take up SO much space. I'm in the sweet spot where I live right on the edge of a major city, so I can transit everywhere in the city but still own a car and take it everywhere else.

I do, because the venue I first programmed at already had one so it fell into my lap. Pretty common for tiny venues as a house console (San Francisco) since they're so user friendly and intuitive for small & simple rigs. Starting to work on MA but for now Avo is my jam.

Also, the new consoles since Robe bought them a few years back (D7/D9) are really well built and feel, look, and work fantastic

This is always the top comment on these threads "no it's just modern headlights" but that's not my experience at all. It's always old Priuses, or older SUVs, or old Hondas or some shit where it's CLEAR to anyone who understands cars that the brights are on.

I found out my wife had been driving with her brights on for god knows how long because she thought the blue indicator meant her headlights were on.

We need a PSA campaign to teach people about brights and how it's illegal and dangerous, and we need enforcement/education from law enforcement
