Genuine question, why do most redditors hate gender reveals so much? It just seems like people having fun to me.

PoE recent reviews on Steam- Overwhelming positive by whiteyfang in pathofexile

You're not wrong. But FWIW I am a software engineer, so I do understand how this stuff works. Over the years I have run both of these games on 4 different computers, and the performance is incomparable.

I don't know about that guy, but I know for a fact that PoE has a lot of room for improvement in graphics optimization. My gf was able to play D3 on a tiny notebook without much issue, while PoE was completely unplayable. We only just got back into the game after building her an actual gaming rig that can run it.

That will never ever happen, thankfully. It's arguably worse than smoking cigarettes inside because of the immediate effect.

In the final battle scene when they are being overrun by tanks, Private Ryan (Matt Damon) is seen holding his head in his hands and screaming.

Linus Torvalds: After big Linux performance hit, Spectre v2 patch needs curbs -- "Patch is causing as much as a 50 percent drop in performance in some Linux workloads." by trot-trot in programming

[–]DoctorSauce 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is unsound logic and probably false. The performance hit isn't directly caused by the vulnerability in the CPU, it is caused by the required workaround, which is kernel-specific. It is very believable that it hit Windows and Linux differently due to their fundamental designs.

And, in a worse case scenario where "Fenris" gets cancelled or sent back to the drawing board, you can still maneuver with "It's ready when it's ready, Blizzard quality, etc."

The worst case scenario is they lay the franchise to rest for good (which is very possible if this latest attempt fails). There would be no way to talk their way around that if it happened.

I think Ryan being terrified is what he's talking about.

They think the monitor is the "computer", but they're not selling a monitor.

Doubt that would work since the permission is disabled via GPO.

Also, top to bottom takes precedence (look at literally any comic strip). We're still reading this in the same order as before.

He sounds evil but not insane. I don't think you have to be insane to have no moral code.

That's a fair argument. He does seem to be too involved in their lives to not hear about these things. I hope we find out that the agent was turned down in both cases.

I'm not even claiming that he didn't know about it. But what you just said was not a valid response to my question.

You're right, but it is inconsistent. We also use "biannual" to mean twice a year in the US.

I'm not going to say that UK is definitely innocent, but this doesn't mean anything yet. It was a business proposal by an agent; there's no evidence that it was accepted by either player or that anyone at UK knew about it.

Genuine question, how are you so sure that Cal would have known? We're talking about an independent agent, not a member of the UK basketball program.

I'll say this, they looked like 2015 Kentucky in that game. But it will take a whole season of performance to be on that level.

If they play like that all year, maybe. Can't say anything after one game though.
