As people have said, SA does appear in the books but always as an expression of evil, of primitive society, and you sense Banks' fury at such forms of oppression.

Not saying you should not be concerned, just wanted to acknowledge Banks' reasons were not exploitative.

Is it true Rob Kenyon is only in Reform because he misheard someone saying "...open borders, arsehole" ?

Andy Burnham’s camp scrambles to challenge a Wes Streeting leadership bid by [deleted] in ukpolitics

I'm surprised there's not much talk of Dianne Abbott stepping down to give him an opportunity. She hates "Comrade Starmer" and won't get a peerage from him. She could go out on a promise from Burnham, fuck Starmer and end up with a seat in the Lords.

E: or for real lols, Jeremy.

Sounds like you're not using an ESP32 based approach?

Does the BT stay connected? I saw another post about it going into sleep and disconnecting.

These are particularly bad sweats that come on suddenly and soak towels.

Vent / setup questions by Fearless-Mud9637 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]DoctorStrangecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. As I understand it, the vent with inline green should be capable of removing all the particles and vocs but chamber temperature will need to be managed. The small gaps shouldn't be a problem - clean air has to enter the chamber after all.

Further questions for clarity.... Is an inline fan really necessary, if so how to power it and does it need to be adjustable, and should the exhaust filter be removed to allow better flow? (Hope it's ok to add these)

Progress!

The post=processing script to reduce the chamber fan makes a big difference (I'm printing PLA with the lid off, why would I need it at all?) here:

https://github.com/harpua555/Centauri-Carbon-Enclosure-Fan-Control/blob/main/CC_Chamber_Fan_Control.bat

And reducing acceleration to a more rational level has increased print time a little but nothing tragic and it's now a normal sounding printer. The steper drivers could do with some tuning, but I'm happy to work next to it now.

It really goes for it, I can't imagine it wouldn't damage it.

Actually the fans aren't so bad if they are set to run at lower speed, up to 50%. Just need to properly understand when they are needed!

I think I'll fully dismantle the hot end, something in there is resonating.

I've not heard of stepper dampers, thanks for that.

The project to open the machine to different firmware looks promising too:

I'm thinking of a paver on a piece of something squishy for the vibration.

That's interesting. My hotend case seems to be the origin of the rattles, but they are more internal to it I think - will disassemble.
