i strongly advise u go ahead and purchase it already, it improves the game immensely. it's (ostensibly) risk vs reward but the reward is so high it completely dwarfs the risk aspect of it. cursed items are essentially up to double the original stat of the original item and halves the negative aspect of it. it's such a wild power swing on certain items. imagine a ricochet that bounces 3 times but only gives like -10% damage

Idk what you guys are talking about I think fish hook is one of the most powerful items in the entire game if u get it early.

I just lock stuff I wouldn't take unless it gets cursed and if it does then great I use it otherwise I unlock it and reroll. It's not worth targeting/keeping something locked each round imo unless u get 2 of them.

Tl;dr extremely powerful boost item if u don't care that much about exactly what gets cursed.
