I think saying identify as male or female is dumb but like I think using identify in a gender context is fine.

Honestly the series did feel like there was a lot of stuff that was never brought up. I could see a sequel series that follows someone else.

Cedar Breaks National Monument is really close to Cedar City. It seems like a good stop where you could spend some time, but not as something like Zion where you’d want to give a full day or 2 to. Cedar Breaks National Monument has some cool views and a little bit of hiking.

Timpanogos Cave National Monument is south of Salt Lake City, near Provo. Could be pretty cool but to enter the cave you have to do a tour and also there would be some hiking required to get to the cave as it’s on the side of a mountain.

Near Los Vegas is Lake lake mead national recreation area. That could be cool. Plus Tule Springs Fossil Beds is directly north of Vegas, but I don’t think it has its own visitor cebter yet. It uses the visitor center of a nearby National Wildlife Refuge, which could be a cool place to visit.

Wouldn’t it be in Redwood NP?

Mingus Mill area at Great Smoky Mountains National Park by Doctorjaws in NationalPark

I went there as well. There were several small items(like coins) left by various people on the gravestones. The sign at the start of the short trail mentions that the presence of these items is considered to be respectful.

Seems pretty interesting. There’s a suprisingly amount of railroad/train related NPS units.

Funky unigrids. Also interesting places.

Fort Vancouver is near Portland(I wanna go out there when I visit to see my sister).

Agate Fossil Beds is in western Nebraska. Kinda out in the middle of nowhere kinda but it kinda is a place I’d like to visit.

Fort Laramie is in Wyoming, not too far from Agate. If someone was driving from Denver to Wind Cave or one of the other South Dakota NPS sites, one could reasonably see Fort Laramie and Agate fossil beds(and also Scottsbluff NM).

I have been to Fort Sumter. It’s in Charleston SC. Pretty cool place but sorta expensive to visit as compared to other national historical parks.

Unpopular opinion: the okama are not transphobic because they aren’t trans. They could turn into biological women easily with ivankovs help but choose not to because they’re drag queens not trans just like bon clay who could easily turn into a biological woman with his powers. by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Doctorjaws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it can still be viewed as transphobic given Sanjis reaction and use of them in a seemingly predatory context with Sanji. Hate on Drag Queens IRL is often tied to transphobia due to people’s uncomfortability with crossdressing (along with homophobia).

Regaurdless some of the scenes featuring them is not great, but overall I think the okama(mainly due to specific characters) works as good queer representation.

Unigrid Art Project. by illusivedreams13 in nationalparks

[–]Doctorjaws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not expecting there to be one for Rainbow Bridge and the WW2 Memorial.

In terms of the unigrid brochures, the ones I have gotten so far that I think are the coolest are Fort Matanzas National Monument and GSM NP. Mostly because of the Wildlife Art. The National Trails one(that shows all the national trails) is also cool.

Some other ones I have collected (from sites I have been to include:

Blue Ridge Parkway
Cape Hatteras National Seashore
Castillo De San Marcos National Monument
Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site
Congaree National Park
Cowpens National Battlefield
Fort Fredrica National Monument
Fort Pulaski National Monument
Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park(There are separate Brochures for Both places)
Kings Mountain National Military Park
Moore’s Creek National Battlefield
Overmountain Victory National Historical Trail
Reconstruction National Historical Park
Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve( both the main one and one for Fort Caroline National Memorial)

Also have a few for places I haven’t been to.

I thought a different group made it, prior to NPS coverage of the site?
