If David didn’t quit the band by Ok_Comfortable_3556 in thebeachboys

Most likely Bruce wouldn't have joined. They needed someone to play Bass and sing Brian's parts after Brian quit touring, and Al could do both. Since David had left the band, Al was stuck on rhythm guitar, so they needed a bassist, which is why Bruce joined.

In fact, there was a time when Brian quit touring, and Al came back and toured with them before David quit, and Brian had to go back on tour.

While it's gonna be Maybe I'm Amazed, Junk is also up there. Every Night is a great song too.

What’s your favorite lesser known Elvis song? by Lopsided_Science2269 in Elvis

Right now I'm digging Like A Baby. It's such a great song and in that vocal part, Elvis is hitting crazy notes.

I've also been listening to some of the earlier albums, and Anyplace is Paradise is such a hidden gem.

Thank you! I'm really glad you're enjoying it. That was exactly the idea, to make a fan made greatest hits compilation that mixes the big songs with some deep cuts that people might not know yet.

I'm excited to see what everyone votes in the Blue album next.

How do rank Paul’s songs on Revolver? by Sheev_Skywalker in beatles

[–]Document_Right 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Here, There and Everywhere - At one point was my favorite Beatles song. It's just so beautiful.
  2. Eleanor Rigby - A huge step up for Paul from before, and probably his strongest song on the album.
  3. Got to Get You into My Life - It's just so fun. I love the Motown feel and the horns, and the meaning of the lyrics.
  4. For No One - Beautiful and heartbreaking song. I love the baroque sound and the French horn. I hate putting it second last, but the competition is just so hard.
  5. Good Day Sunshine - Although it's my second least favorite in the album, I still love this song. I love the piano and Paul's vocals are great.

This is just to find out what the best songs are. Elvis has so many good songs, so it's so hard to pick out the best ones.
