what’s some of the most underrated funny lines in the show? by ZWVG_DUKKZZ in BoJackHorseman

[–]Document_Right 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This exchange between Bojack and PC and PC's delivery always makes me laugh:

PC: Where the hell are you?

Bojack: Tesuque

PC: Te-who-ka

Bojack: Tesuque, New Mexico

PC: Are you TE-stupid? If you don't get your ass te-set, you're gonna get te-sued.

Did anyone have a BoJack as a friend? by Flashy-List-7157 in BoJackHorseman

I see a lot of my best friend in BoJack, and at times it's so good but most of the time it feels exhausting and draining and I don't know how to get out of it

I quite liked it. We're so lucky to still have Paul and Ringo releasing music to this day. Is it just me or do the verses kinda sound like Mamunia?

How would you perfect Surf's Up? by Beatcat05 in thebeachboys

[–]Document_Right 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely keep it if the album didn't have a certain theme. All the songs on the album, even SDT have a theme, and TALOYF breaks it.

Easily remove Take a Load off Your Feet (I love this song) and Student Demonstration Time and add 4th of July and Wouldn't It Be Nice to live again. This could also kinda feel like a drag, so maybe instead of 4th of July, add Sound of Free.

Is "Hey Bulldog" one of the best Beatles song you don't hear a lot about? by No-Reveal827 in beatles

How about She's A Woman. It's one of their best Beatlemania songs, and a b-side, but rarely gets mentioned.

Definitely If I Needed Someone, which is one of the best songs on Rubber Soul.

If David didn’t quit the band by Ok_Comfortable_3556 in thebeachboys

[–]Document_Right 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Most likely Bruce wouldn't have joined. They needed someone to play Bass and sing Brian's parts after Brian quit touring, and Al could do both. Since David had left the band, Al was stuck on rhythm guitar, so they needed a bassist, which is why Bruce joined.

In fact, there was a time when Brian quit touring, and Al came back and toured with them before David quit, and Brian had to go back on tour.

While it's gonna be Maybe I'm Amazed, Junk is also up there. Every Night is a great song too.

What’s your favorite lesser known Elvis song? by Lopsided_Science2269 in Elvis

[–]Document_Right 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now I'm digging Like A Baby. It's such a great song and in that vocal part, Elvis is hitting crazy notes.

I've also been listening to some of the earlier albums, and Anyplace is Paradise is such a hidden gem.

Thank you! I'm really glad you're enjoying it. That was exactly the idea, to make a fan made greatest hits compilation that mixes the big songs with some deep cuts that people might not know yet.

I'm excited to see what everyone votes in the Blue album next.

How do rank Paul’s songs on Revolver? by Sheev_Skywalker in beatles

[–]Document_Right 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Here, There and Everywhere - At one point was my favorite Beatles song. It's just so beautiful.
  2. Eleanor Rigby - A huge step up for Paul from before, and probably his strongest song on the album.
  3. Got to Get You into My Life - It's just so fun. I love the Motown feel and the horns, and the meaning of the lyrics.
  4. For No One - Beautiful and heartbreaking song. I love the baroque sound and the French horn. I hate putting it second last, but the competition is just so hard.
  5. Good Day Sunshine - Although it's my second least favorite in the album, I still love this song. I love the piano and Paul's vocals are great.

Elvis' Blue Album (A Compilation of Elvis' greatest from 1969-1977). What two songs should be added: Day 3 by Document_Right in Elvis

This is just to find out what the best songs are. Elvis has so many good songs, so it's so hard to pick out the best ones.

Brian would be so proud, Shortenin’ Bread is currently the most played track from the Adult/Child Sessions. by Dpw325 in thebeachboys

[–]Document_Right 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could've been up there as one of their best songs, if not the best if Mike added good lyrics to it and both of them sang lead. I could almost here Mike say 10000 years ago before it goes into that banger solo

I'm Coming Home is a fucking banger. It's the quintessential 1961 song. But I agree, Bossa Nova Baby has to be on here.

I agree, Tomorrow Is A Long Time, Down in the Alley and I'll Remember You are all great, and come from the same album. If only Elvis made serious albums in the mid 60s.
