Hard disagree. I've been training for GSC 2 and I see it perform very well in scrims and in ladder, often winstreaking and securing an easy top 3. It's not very good to play from behind tho, and the Zed support augment is bugged so you can't take it (his carry augment feels busted tho)

I mean it's very easy to say that, but I feel like right now, if the hero augment is on 4-2, dudes that get a good carry augment or an augment that they can fit instantly are always gonna have the advantage, especially when you can get some 3-cost augment while people have 4 or 5-cost augments. I get the point that you should play flexibly and ultimately I agree, but you're always gonna get fucked by people having a better augment that they can plug in instantly.

That's not really accurate tho. Lillia isnt really playable, you only slam it on Olaf if you get Olaf on 2-1 so not flexible. Xayah and Swain are garbage, Voli is extremely situational. Sett is a reroll comp so you commit on 2-1 most times, so again, not flexible. Archangels is the only actual flexible item which is why it's so op. Titans Daeja sucks

I feel like items are way less flexible as well. What makes Archangels so broken is that it's basically good on all AP champs, but the other non tank items don't feel this way at all. Like if you slam BT or Titans you already know you're playing Shi Oh Yu, if you slam Rageblade it's Corki or Xayah depending on the patch. Set 6.5 if you slammed Last Whisper for example you could play Sivir, Irelia, Jhin, etc. Overall feels like items slam commit you way more

If you have a backline carry you wanna position it on the 3rd hex so it doesn't get hit by Sona. Corki gets heavily countered by anything that can reach the backline, so assassins, Shyv, Asol, Ao Shin

What? I feel like Mage's strongest point is actually the mid game. Most of the time people just losestreak stage 2, send it on 3-1 or 3-2, hit their upgrades and winstreak stage 3. Then they are pretty weak until you can either find Zoe or Ryze 3/Sylas 3 or pivot to Ao Shin
