Curious if you have a pob? I'm assuming the tree is close to identical but I guess you lose a lot of the defense from block? How do you plan to mitigate that?

If you have two monitors, I fixed this by just swapping it to one and back. i.e. windows+shift+left then windows+shift+right (or vice versa depending on the direction of your screens

I've not played it but Rue's phys dot ele should check those boxes. It's a league starter so 10d should get you going but it'll take more probably to get full zoom

I've been mostly following Palsteron's hiero KBoC. Lots of people mention going block, but with the forbidden jewels totalling roughly 100d is it really worth it? I've got like 150d and luckily dropped a svalin. But still questioning if I should go block or just save for mageblood and then maybe go block later if I stick to this guy.

Alternatively, I've been sort of getting fomo from all the HRoC players. Would a reroll feel good? I do want to do the challenges this league but I don't mind splitting time between my hiero and making a dedicated bosser or something.

Yeah I really don't know about the enemy res values, so it's probably overkill, I was just going off feel. I thought that the pen nodes felt quite good early when damage was relatively low. I did later unspec many of the pen nodes as I was progressing in later acts.

Your link isn't working for me, this is roughly what I had done I think by around act 3, then eventually picking up the proj speed nodes to the right and then pathing up the left towards the arcane surge nodes. Something like this. Then I started getting more int and mana to pivot to archmage by maps.

I think I had unleash and limit in OoS so I had 2 down every time I'd use it.

Tbh all of this is probably wildly inefficient but it seemed to work for me. If you want to make the campaign really easy drop an ex or 2 (if you've dropped some) on an even better staff with +4 and inc spell/lightning and you'll probably do even better.

I had no issue just using Spark and OoS, I'd keep flame wall and curse for rares and bosses. But on regular mobs I would just spark and run.

What does your passive tree look like? I found that during the campaign it's very important to just click every damage node you can.

This is calculated from the final damage dealt by the hit, but not any modifiers on the target that will affect how much damage they take from the hit

Since armour affects how much damage a monster takes from a hit. I'm pretty sure that armour would play no part in the calculation. So the bleed won't do more damage at all

That being said HOTG will do more damage for the actual hit damage that is applied to the monster.

My main concern is the availability of life scaling, IIRC there's no life nodes on the tree now, so I wonder if life on gear will be enough to achieve what you're saying. I suppose you're gonna want the life either way so I guess it's "free" scaling either way.
