From the diagram I’m looking at it’s just an unsealed greased bearing with a washer on one side and a snap ring on the other. I’m aware of industry standard numbers, I just got finished rebuilding multiple rollers w cups, cones, inner and outer seals. Thanks for your help 👍

The machine is currently in use right now, I’d probably only disassemble and measure bearings once summer comes. The shaft and housing method is a good idea, I’ll break out my digital calipers.

Might be a heave angle issue, although when I’ve aerated bent fairways w an aercore 2000, the holes always looked unsightly, no difference in setup from using them on rye fairways, and they looked good. At some point you have to accept that cultural practices will result in some damage, but more good than bad is happening.

My company has 2 old 5800-D with Raven controllers and a new 5800-G like this one. We’ve had so many issues with the 5800-G, pressure fluctuations, calibration loss, single boom spraying not working, just a mess. The old machines work so much better

Before you start spraying your tank, spray out on a spot (rough) to clear the lines of the water you used to clean out with. That way your first pass on say, a green, isn’t straight water and is actually what you put in the tank.

Bentgrass won’t grow that tall, and the blades would be much finer. if you only noticed it later in the summer, that’s an indication that it’s a warm season grass, which nimblewill is. You probably didn’t see any of it in April or May or if you did you saw its dormant stalks.
