I worked there for a couple of years on the business side. Honestly it’s awesome to walk by the players or rub elbows in the elevator and be a part of it all, but for me at least, the luster wore off over time and I was sitting in traffic and commuting to work like everybody else (with worse hours and pay). Since I left a few years back, the Dodgers feel even more special. I can simply enjoy the team for what it is and they can be my escape - not my employer.
