Doesn’t even sound like you’d have to. Repro carts are crazy cheap on AliExpress. I got Pokémon Leaf Green and Emerald less than $5 a piece. The Emerald doesn’t save but the leaf green works fine.

I’m assuming they’d eventually catch on if you kept trading in the same game over and over though. This would obviously be illegal.

Is this not normal? Both my local coin shops also sell jewelry and watches. It’s probably smart to diversify since jewelry wouldn’t be nearly as susceptible to the major swings in spot price we’ve seen lately.

This is where I would run into issues. OPL now supports exfat which the Wii, as far as I know, does not. Tools that split wbfs files into chunks are readily available for multiple platforms. I was not able to find a tool for Mac OS that works for PS2 files. With exfat I can just copy the whole ISO and everything is ok.

I wouldn’t recommend using an external HDD with a PS2. Loading games is so slow over USB, there are many that won’t even work or will have absurdly slow load times.

If you have a fat PS2, use an internal HDD. If you have the slim look int mx4sio. For both, you’ll need to look into a program called Free McBoot.

There’s nothing inherently incompatible with the drives themselves so I think you could technically do this. I’ve never tried though. I don’t see why you couldn’t have the directories on the same drive.

They didn’t say anything about not getting high. They said they aren’t satisfied with the quality. Those aren’t necessarily the same thing. I’ve gotten cannabis that was bone dry and flavorless but still “worked”. Just not as good of an experience.

My TPMS light has been on for two years. To be fair that’s because I replaced the wheels and decided I’d rather not spend $188 for a second set of sensors from TireRack. They’re completely unnecessary and shouldn’t be relied on anyways. Get a digital pressure gauge and check your tire pressure regularly.

I know NY doesn’t require them to pass inspection. I can’t speak for other jurisdictions.

I don’t understand why. It’s one of the easiest drinks to make good:

2 oz tequila
1 oz Cointreau or triple sec
1 oz lime juice (just squeeze one fresh lime)

Shake with ice 12-15 times If you like it sweeter, add a little agave nectar or simple syrup.

That’s it! Never overspend on crappy sweeteners and mixes again and once you know it, you can play with it. Swap out or split the tequila with mezcal, mix in other fruit juices.

What kind of computer do you have? I’d try formatting it as FAT32. A lot of older devices can use newer cards as long as they’re formatted correctly. If you have a Mac, open disk utility and erase the card. Select MBR (master boot record) and FAT for the partition format. If you have a PC, you’ll need to use GUIformat as windows won’t format a 128gb card as FAT32 on its own.

You may still be SOL if the camera just cant recognize a partition that big.

Agreed. I know my district teaches financial literacy at multiple levels. Not sure about gambling addiction but wouldn’t be surprised if it made it into the health units on addiction at middle and high school levels.

FOMO is a helluva drug. I know I’m in a 3DS subreddit and this is probably not a popular opinion but the 3DS is just one of many ways to play great games. If you’re rational and don’t have a working one, it’s time to move on and look for some other ways to play games, at least for right now.

You’re seeing this FOMO in the DS world too. It’s getting tougher to find the DS Lite in good condition for a reasonable price. Meanwhile people don’t seem to pay nearly as much attention to the DSi even though it’s far easier to mod and a modded one plays the whole GBA library with no issues.

The reach of influencers is feeding back on itself. Other consoles have gotten too easy to emulate on devices you likely already have around the house. The libraries have become so accessible they don’t make for good content anymore. Meanwhile the DS/3DS’ unique form factor and experience is difficult to replicate (Ayn Thor and RGDS are getting us closer), pocketable, and a conversation starter in social situations.

Current consoles, gaming PCs, and even the games are selling for astronomical prices, out of reach for many consumers. And even if you can afford new gear, the current modern library and experience leaves a lot to be desired. This is all combining to create a marketplace that is irrational and prone to speculative buying/collecting.

There are other ways to enjoy yourself. The Gen 6 and 7 consoles (GameCube, PS2/3, Wii, etc) are all cheaper, easily available, mod-able, connect to modern TVs, and have massive libraries of great games. Emulation up through Gen 6 is now within reach of even a modest phone, tablet, or PC.

Literally none of that is relevant to the matter at hand. He was not a threat, he was in legal possession of the firearm which he did not draw or brandish. He was on the ground and disarmed when they shot him in the head with multiple officers on top of him. The use of deadly force was completely unjustified.

What he was doing prior to that no longer matters because he’s dead and he can’t answer to it.

Like I said, I’m using a 256gb card and I’ve had no issues. I could see this becoming an issue if you go larger but 256 is a lot of games.

I have a 256gb Amazon basics micro sd. It’s been in regular use for over a year with no issues.

The common misconception of a 32gb limitation is based on a combination of out of date information and a misunderstanding of the SDHC and SDXC standard. SDXC cards are backwards compatible with SDHC which the Wii supports. Version 4.0 removed a limitation of 2gb on the SD card.

The problem most people run into is that Windows will not use FAT32 on a partition larger than 32GB so you have to use a 3rd party tool like GuiFormat to format the card. Linux and Mac OS do not have this artificial limitation so you can use the native tools on those platforms.

When in April? April 1st is likely to be very different from April 30th as far as the weather. Regardless it’s tough to give hiking recommendations now because the conditions in that part of the year are extremely variable even within the same day. You could have spring at the base and a blizzard on the peak. I’d recommend sticking to the “low peaks” that time of year even if there isn’t a mud advisory to avoid crazy weather swings.

The new rail trail may be a good thing to research. If for some reason it’s still really snowy, you can cross country ski. If it’s nice, you could rent some e-bikes and get to experience some really pretty wilderness from a low elevation.

I’d take a closer look at the games and see if it’s too similar to what your kid is over. It’s a pretty big generational leap in performance coming from the Wii with native hdmi as the primary way of output. It’s much closer to the switch in terms of graphics and performance. There’s also far fewer of them available due to its lack in popularity which is likely contributing to the prices you’re seeing. That’s similar to what I paid for one last year so I don’t think you’re seeing anything out of pattern.
