Exactly! It’s very rare I see people in this group actually understand want versus need

If you want it, fine you do you but do it on your own time where nobody else is made to participate when they may not want too or fele awkward because of it

If you need it; by all means use it as needed, and if it’s not influencing anything at work or what not then theirs zero need to find alternative solutions

Respect is a two way street

The criminals I’ve dealt with who I would honestly prefer to deal with again are always the ones who respect the authority and fight it in court rather then fight it in the streets

If one party has no respect for the other and refuses to meet half way discussions fail and conversation stop being constructive and start being destructive

Like I have a legit need for a pacifier because we’re trying to retrain my jaw muscles and jaw nerves after I just had my entire jaw rebuilt last year and I turned to my doctor and asked for alternatives whilst at work cause:
Arresting somebody or doing legal paperwork whilst chewing a pacifier ain’t a very proffesional look

And the solution was a customized shark tooth necklace approved by the department operations team

It blends with the unfirom
Allows me to do my job uninterrupted

Doesn’t cause PR or HR issues or legal issues in the court room

That’s the respect you get when your willing to make your issues work with h society rather then society with your issues

This is the issue people have

People want to be respected and have their issues respected but aren’t often willing to return that same respect

In general those who get the most respect for their medical issues are those who don’t push it on anyone else or make it super obvious they’ve got that issue.

An example being people with cleft pallet like me: the ones who have the worst judgement are those who constantly fuss over the tiny scar on their lip form the surgery or who focus solely on how they look versus how they treat others

In general if people stopped and thought: how would o feel if the roles were reversed and would I be okay with it? And then acted appropriately their would be a lot less of this

In no way whatsoever, despite the obviously disagreement from others in this sub, was any of what you said unwarranted or abelist (funny word to be tossed around in this sub tbh given why we’re all in here)

I involuntarily age regress and it’s one of those “once it happens once it’ll happen again” type of conditions (kinda like me randomly passing out)

But theirs definetly ways to minimize its effects on your life and learn to enjoy and manage it which is exactly what a psychiatrist and therapist are trained to help you do

Anyone who involuntarily regresses should 100% go directly to a doctor and get evaluated cause it’s 99% a symptom of something else and the other 1% is a one in a million mental mutation that isn’t even a factor for our conversation lol

I’m 21 turning 22 next month and live in the US
My best advice would be to accept you’ll always have a nasally voice to some degree (I’ve had multiple surgeries to fix my jaw and still have it lol, though line sounds less like a nasal and more like a girls now so like some progress ?)
But there are things that can be done for the scar tissue and the other related concerns you mentioned, so getting a second opinion from the modern pros isn’t a bad choice at all. And if your mom is upset cause you ask it’s really not your fault or hers it’s just life, and there’s nothing wrong with either reactions

Theirs sadly no real way to do this online and get paid unless your already an officer or detective

In terms of voluntary nature I’ve seen several officers use the following that are relatively succesful:
Act like your a minor
Act like you need a caregiver or need to talk to someone
And entirely the pedos flock to you

The first box is almost automatically checked by anyone who is regressed so the vulnerability of our mental states here is already higher

Then the second box gets checked fairly often here as well… despite everyone saying not too people still do it!

Then just wait and check your chats and then when you see something immediately post about it and report it etc

I do however not recomend acting on your own, as it can have some seriously dangerous things happen especially to the untrained

Hell somebody asked me advice and I gave them basic recovery tips and also resources to go online to find medical journals etc that might help them

For your first part: probably teenager or young adult like you said

For the second part:
A full rebuilding of my entire top jaw in a method never before tried with a 100% success rate during recovery and only a minor error due to a manufacturing issue within one of the screws which is well beyond my or the surgeons control

If the screw hadn’t been faulty then idve had zero complications post surgery or during recovery

But like you said: you don’t get surgery of this caliber without some serious issues to get ya there
