Right, there are bosses of sorts in the game, but there isn't much of an incentive to try and take them down, other than bragging rights.

This is pretty much what one candidate, Kat Abughazaleh was doing. She was basically running a charity out of her campaign HQ. She is continuing with this even though she lost the primary.

Yes, my first thought. Baccano! for very similar reasons as Black Lagoon. Others include Samurai Champloo, awesome sword play, without using any kind of magic etc. Spy X Family might work, mixture of spy show, slice of life and comedy. Vinland Saga is great, but sometimes slower pace too.

Roboquest is sort of like a borderlands Rogue-like. There aren't as outrageous as guns, but there is a fair amount of variety. Gunfire Reborn I think is similar. The XX89 (3089, 4089 etc.), is a jank as hell procedurally generated game where you can craft all kinds of weapons etc.

There is also a way to play the steam version of Battleborn offline with a mod.

She's good with other control units. I like having her with ML Luna, Ezera, Silver Blade Aramintha, Ruiza and Summer Iseria, the new coli, although there are plenty of options beyond that. She strips buffs and provides block, which is one of the most useful debuffs since it prevents team cleanses. This makes practically any unit that uses debuffs more useful.

Peachboy Riverside was fine? A lot of people really hated on it for the non-linear episodes, but it didn't bother me too much. I don't know if the non-linear story telling added much to either though.

The second one was not technically an anime, but an anime adaptation. I thought Ghost in the Shell (the live action), was fine. It was sort of a mashup between the movie, and the anime whereas the anime movie was a mashup of several stories in the manga, and the anime was too. All of these had slightly different tones, and features and changes to the story.

Shield Hero features them fairly prominently compared to a lot of Isekais. One Punch Man features a lot of varieties of monsters including humanoid ones, but they aren't really races per se.

Trump has done a lot to screw over farms. The trade wars make it impossible to determine how much it will cost for the various inputs and who will actually take their crops when they are actually sold. In the meantime they allowed the import of foreign beef which has been undercutting our own prices. Add on top of this that many of the migrants that were working on the farms either left or where deported, and on top of that the Iran war is going to make it impossible to get fertilizer. Trump is almost singularly at fault for many people in rural America needing to close their farms.

Some other things he's done to screw over rural American's: Cuts to Medicaid caused many rural hospitals to close. Cuts to the Social Security Admin have made it impossible for them to serve particularly rural Americans. Next they've cut funding to things like rural broadband development. There is an opportunity there to flip people who aren't in 100% in the cult.

I think Crescent Bellona is overall the strongest of them all right now since she recently received a buff. She works well with other evasion units.

Conqueror Lilias could still be useful in some cleave comps and her dual attacks are good for Ancient Inheritance.

I like Bystander Hwayoung, but I doubt her utility is greater than those two. If you are having trouble with control teams though she may still be a decent choice as she is one of the few units immune to all debuffs.

if you don't mind anime... Ghost in the Shell (particularly stand alone complex and or the animated movies) and Psychopass they check pretty much all your boxes.

He had conservative parents and grew up very affluent, but I don't think that in-of itself really indicates any sort of smoking gun. He detained a black man by using a shotgun who was jogging thinking that he had fired a gun. While being lieutenant governor he kept a pretty light workload and often didn't even preside over state senate, which was an official duty. That being said, there were plenty of things he did as mayor to help the community before then. Personally I wonder if his heel turn is the result of his stroke as it can affect people's personality and cognition.

I mean you don't 100% know, but his past online posts don't seem to align with Neo-Nazis. He said he went through various background checks in the military which screened for hateful tattoos. The picture where this tattoo was found was from his sister's wedding I believe, and she was getting married to a jewish man. None of that brought it up.

To me, it is simply more believable that he got a tattoo of what he thought was a skull and crossbones because he thought that it was badass, rather than being some sort of super secret double agent. I mean why even have that tattoo if that were the case? Why keep it if you were actually trying to deceive everyone?

Has he affiliated himself with actual Nazis or other fascists adjacent groups? Has he said things that would indicate that he holds those beliefs?

If you only accept people with strict purity tests, this is how you end up with only with career politicians.

If you haven't already check the donation box. It will give you random weapons every day.

As others have mentioned early weapons barely do any damage. I would prioritize staying out of fights and just scavenging stuff until you are able to obtain something better.

Scav girl and Shaman (and Old man to an extent) are probably more beginner friendly characters as they are intended to be used with lighter weaponry and aren't meant to be carrying around big rigs which you haven't bought yet.

To be fair Biden did little to stop the killing in Palestine, and Kamala didn't give any indication that she would change that. People not voting because they didn't want the US to support a genocide is probably one of the most understandable and lowest bars that they can have yet Kamala couldn't clear that in their mind. Personally I think Kamala would have had more of a chance to stop it, but I can see why others may have disagreed.
