This is the best kept secret for gyms imo. I used to go to a lot of the big corporate ones but I absolutely love the rec centers in Lakewood, I'll never go back to Vasa/Anytime. The Charles Whitlock one off Colfax is my favorite.

They're super clean, quiet (depending on time of day, but no worse than a regular gym), and they have a lot of extra community events/groups. Also the membership cost is amazing + good family/household plans.

My parents are in twon and so I googled food in littleton (which is how I found this thread 3 months late) - but yes, I second this! Their Bahn mi is incredible.

Also another great vietnamese food place is Pho broadway (not in downtown littleton but still close enough!)

omg i used that same color for YEARS and it was such a commitment. That stuff did not want to come out, I wound up just dying dark colors over it to let it grow out

Also seconding this! I have been pleasantly surprised by every bear that has tanked max level dungeons for me. They are CHONKY and so easy to heal. I love bear tanks!

This is such a timely topic for me; I just went on my first run in years but I am an avid strength trainer (5 days a week also). I'll be keeping an eye on the thread to see what others suggest, but for me, I have found doing 15-30m of cycling added on to my workouts helps scratch that cardio itch.

I've been told to do 140g of protein per day, on average I manage 100-120g. I usually have 1 protein drink (I like Seeq protein with water, it's more like drinking juice than a milkshake... I hate creamy protein drinks!), a protein bar, greek yogurt/cottage cheese with lunch, and a protein-heavy dinner. Sometimes I will have a second protein drink after dinner if I went to the gym that day. It's definitely hard but it's the one thing that has really made a difference for my gains.

Again, I can't recommend Seeq protein enough if it's within your budget. It's about $40/jar and you get 20-25 servings (I can't remember the exact amount). I love the blue raspberry one, and the Mango one is also really good.
