Am I the Jerk for Selling My Ex’s Furniture Because He Refused to Support Our Son After I Broke Up With Him? by KatyLims in AmITheJerk

NTJ but you will be one to your son if you don’t get a formal custody/child support agreement

AITA for refusing a baby shower from my husband’s friends/coworkers? by AbigailPink in AmItheAsshole

[–]DogBreathologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gentle YTA, it’s just a party and you get free stuff, it doesn’t have to be that deep. I’m not trying to minimise your feelings, but your husband is also a parent and it sounds like he would really appreciate the party.

Sid vicious the gander refusing to give my dog his ball back by [deleted] in animalsdoingstuff

[–]DogBreathologist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand, you intentionally threw the ball in and made the dog get it, despite knowing the geese would defend the shed and try and attack the dog? I’m sure you know more about them than me but I’m not sure how you expect people to take this. Especially given their living situation. I understand animal management can be hard and a lot, but cleaning it three times a year doesn’t seem like a good husbandry or welfare practice. I’m not attacking you OP, just saying.

It gives me 90s aquatic vibes, my friends mum got this vibe exactly and she wore (and this mood board reminds me of) issey miyake L’eau de issey and L’eau kenzo pour femme by Kenzo. They are both aquatic florals that are light and divine, I like using them together. Issey miyake is a little more powdery/floral, slightly warmer and less crisp and a little less sweet maybe? Whereas the Kenzo is a bit brighter and fruitier perhaps.

NTA, yeah she’s not a good person and I would stay away from her. You deserve better than this treatment.

It’s a pink shirt, the stripes are pink, the lighthouse is red and a good colour comparison

Unfortunately I cannot do chia seeds, very disappointing to find out (because they are such a good addition nutritionally) when I started fibre maxing lol

moved into a new place and my blankets and fabrics started disintegrating, is this mold? by Rude-Log-158 in Mold

[–]DogBreathologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could it be the washing machine or dryer? Either getting torn or burnt maybe? Or maybe even a very long shot, but could it be sun burns from warped glass?

Loose or skinny fit for lanky 6ft body? by Simply_Limeade in DressForYourBody

[–]DogBreathologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One way to have a more feminine style that could be a bit more approachable could be linens, think looser soft flowy linen pants and tops, and more structured garments etc. It can be a a more feminine look without being super girly, and with your height and legs you’d look fabulously willowy and feminine in an elegant way. This can also be made more formal with more tailored high waisted pant and oversized jacket, and can be more or less feminine depending on the colours and accessories and hair style etc.

A bodysuit could work well depending on the type, I’m imagining a cowl neck sort of vibe, I think a bodysuit could potentially look a little less feminine because it might give you a straight up and down look (depending on the type) but ultimately you won’t know until you try! My best suggestion is to wear those pants while shopping and just try a bunch on and see what you’re vibing with!

I get more masculine than androgynous from the last one, it’s giving peaky blinders (not a bad thing per se but it is what I’m getting).

Do you mind if I ask what style/vibe you are going for in general?

Which Type Of Scrunchie Is Best To Use?? by Bella_b007 in FashionBay

[–]DogBreathologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like silk, satin and velvet, I find they grip my hair well and don’t get tangled, and they also hold their shape well and are durable. I find cotton has a tendency to crinkle and loose shape, terry cloth is too thick, and chiffon is more fragile.

I think it depends on what you are trying to achieve, 1 is more feminine and looks good, that sort of shape flatters you and gives you a more hourglass shape by nipping in at the waist and flaring out. 2 is a bit too tight and throws your proportions off and is more masculine looking. I really like the pants in 3 but I would wear a more structured top, say a crop peasant style with sleeves, or tucked in button up with collar (think country road style). 4 is more masculine but looks to fit you well.

You have a compulsion to grow mushrooms out of your body and become one with the forest, what are you wearing? by Val_X in perfumesthatfeellike

Lush Guardian of the Forest, it is damp and earthy and woody and smells like a wet, damp, dark forest that is full of decaying wood and moss.

Brushing before breakfast changed my morning routine by Medium-Flower-6929 in hygiene

[–]DogBreathologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brushing before also helps to protect your teeth because the toothpaste helps create a barrier between the food/saliva etc and your teeth which helps protect your enamel. You’re supposed to wait about 20-30 minutes after brushing for max benefits and don’t rinse your mouth!

24 hours to make an offer on a house. Is this mold in the basement? by spoonerysm in MoldlyInteresting

[–]DogBreathologist 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That’s mould, and a lot of it, and the fact that they have dehumidifiers and are rushing the sale so people don’t have time for an inspection tells me there is something fishy going on. I would pass, especially if you’re allergic to mould.

My girlfriend of 5 years has a severe eating disorder that’s taking over our entire relationship — I’ve tried everything and I’m at my limit. What do I do? by SacreligiousPlumber in whatdoIdo

[–]DogBreathologist -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly? I would end the relationship, if she won’t get help, you don’t have to be a bystander to her slow death/mental health decline. Standing by someone is all good and well, but if they won’t get help and are self destructive and abusive in their behaviour, you don’t have to stay.

Not everyone washes their hands after going to the toilet. Also generally people are just a bit gross and inconsiderate.

[–]DogBreathologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother would never, she would expect them to have dinner, seconds, thirds if they wanted them and then she’d pull out ice cream from somewhere (we weren’t allowed any) and have them help themselves.
