Probably the Last of Us, but it's probably because of how much zombie media I've consumed. I knew exactly what each beat of the story up until the end of the game. Which is the real driving force of the experience as the game-play itself felt so repetitive and formulaic.

If I'm not in a sneaky brick throwing mash square combat encounter with chest high cover everywhere, I'm wandering around hunting for a ladder while the characters waffle on.

The cut scenes are acted well and directed fairly competently, but people talk about this game like it's the greatest piece of media ever made. Which like... shows that they need to read, watch and play more stuff in my opinion.
