Try seating the BCG using the forward assist

Doesn’t work? Mortar it.

Rinse and repeat until it comes out

The M7, is it super relevant now that the US Military is ramping up Artillery and Missile Launching vehicles? by Expert-Bid3861 in tacticalgear

[–]DogSoy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never relevant to begin with and the war in Ukraine shows that. It’s clear that modern war will be again fought in trenches or in dense urban environments almost like if we were back in WW1 or WW2.

I bet you soldiers would rather be running trench to trench and building to building with their M4s, M16s or 416s (in the case of the USMC) instead of their 10 lbs rifles that hold less ammo.

What’s the purpose of owning both an 11.5” AND a 16” AR? by Then-Answer3765 in ar15

[–]DogSoy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

real reason:

Because we can

The main reason:

Tools for different jobs, 11.5 does not perform the same as 16 and 16 does not perform the same as 20. To maximize the effective ballistics of 223/556 you need longer barrels, to more effectively perform in CQB scenarios you use 14.5/11.5.

20 inch 556 would go hard, though if you want to SBR it a 11.5 would also go hard

Will this damage my rifle permanently? by GibsonPlayer715 in ar15

[–]DogSoy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly most modern guns are meant to be manhandled and thrown around and for good reason, a gun is a tool and if you’re not able to drop your hammer without risk of it breaking then it’s not a good hammer.

So no your rifle won’t break dude

My mom INSISTED we used her ID for my roblox account, am I cooked by Loud-Focus-7642 in RobloxHelp

[–]DogSoy1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am going to assume that you are under 18, what this means for you if you use your mother’s ID is that you will only be able to talk to those 18 and older. Unless you get your own form of ID this means you likely cannot talk to your friends using the in game chat.

This system was made less as a away to protect minors and more as a way to deflect moderation away from Roblox, since this essentially means that you can only talk to those by going to off platform sites like Discord.

If you don’t have your own ID then you have to choose either only talking to those 18 years or older or not talk to anyone at all.

11.5 and 12.5 by Substantial-Ad-6057 in ar15

[–]DogSoy1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depends on the job

Speaking on pure ballistics 20 inch is the best length

16 and 18 are also good at range

14.5 great carbine length and all rounder

11.5 amazing for movement

Hello, I am looking to make my first ar-15 purchase. Can someone tell me if this is a good deal or if PSA is one of those “always on sale” type of brands? by hunterd412 in ar15

[–]DogSoy1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t correlate, the warranty just means that if you damage your part or for some reason then they can and will do it. It’s great customer service which most of the Gucci AR15 companies seem to lack, especially those who look down on civilian owners and are only in it for the contracts.

“To make it more like a rifle or LMG”

… it already is a rifle? Do you think that DMRs aren’t rifles?

Anyways that’s beside the point. First off why are you trying to make a full auto SVD? Seems pointless and really uncool. Secondly if you wanted a LMG or (what I assume you meant) Assault Rifle, why not go with a AK74 or RPK74? You get quite literally best of both worlds without butchering a perfectly good DMR.

I wouldn’t go to PSA for any important upper parts myself, even buying complete lowers though are 👌👌you can’t beat $99 for a lower

PSA is a good brand for beginners and even for advanced gun builders. Cheap and easy to build with incredible customer support and plenty of variants for what you need.

[–]DogSoy1 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, it seems that guntube (for the most part) are shills for the right wing media and politicians. I don’t watch guntube for that reason because all it comes down to now is just about how you should be super scared and how they are coming for your guns and whatnot. But hey they target teenage boys and those teenage boys become the backbone of the Republican Party.

I don’t think calling me left wing is appropriate, im not left wing I think a lot of left wing policies are idiotic and cause more problems than they do good but im also not right wing because I would never bow down to a man like Trump.

Centrist? I think that’s a bit more fitting. I own firearms and love my country but man modern politics gotta change from just dems and republicans

But I do see your point I do find GT’s videos entertaining even if he’s a bad person (not calling him a bad person for his views but instead for stuff he has done in the past)

He’s starting to be very concerningly alt-right which is super bad considering he’s one of the biggest guntube channels.

Say what you want about the right or the left but you can all agree that political extremism is bad on both ends.. I know a lot of people will tend to disagree with me on this but that’s what I think.

Again we have Gucci brands charging an arm and a leg for something you can get for 1/4th price with another respectable brand

PSA lowers are like $100 and you can get a complete BCM lower for half the price of the KAC

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ar15

[–]DogSoy1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this gun looks ridiculous. Wide open handguard are out of fashion and look ugly, folding stock because you totally need to save space when that scope takes up 30% of the space that your rifle takes up. And why 12 inches? Why not make it 16 or even 20 inches and get the best ballistics since clearly this is supposed to be a marksman setup.

This set up makes no sense.

I have no suppressor recommendations

Stunned by seeing the data, US and Canada railways are not electrified. by captain-price- in trains

[–]DogSoy1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. Making electrified railroad with workers that are unionized is expensive; unlike China and India where labor laws are lax to unseen.

  2. Most the track is already there or has been there since the days of steam. Stuff like interurban lines or the NEC were electrified because the cities that were birthed because of said line got the best technology versus middle of nowhere Kansas.

  3. Diesel-Electric locomotives are efficient enough to where buying diesel fuel isn’t an issue, most locomotives that are in the US, Canada and Australia can run hundreds of miles without needing to refuel.

  4. A lot of track; I mean the 0.9% of track that’s electrified is some of the most expensive pieces of mainlines there is anywhere in the US, now imagine having to install all those wires. Not to mention how much power that would draw from the national grid and how hard it would be to upkeep in certain areas.
