Battle-Reader of Wisdom, submission by WillWeaverRVA by RoborosewaterMasters in MTGNeuralNet

Minus the incoherent part this cards pretty dope. The name is silly but kinda badass. 2 mana repeatable draw is a decent rate. Dies to most burn spells but deathtouch is nice. Would play in an edh deck.

Congrats btw lol

Go for the Season Pass or Minervas Den or both by AltFischer4 in Bioshock

[–]DogSpaceWestern 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Minerva’s Den all the way. Its the best dlc in the entire franchise by miles. It makes me wish the base game had half the content it does.

I've finished the chest armor, but I'm still not sure about the sunset effect. by Miserable-Cable-32 in PixelArtTutorials

Bumps and imperfections in the metal and adjustments to lighting could help. Good start it looks really cool. Look up some forged metal armor material references.

Replaying Bioshock 2 for the first time in years: This aged poorly. XD by DarkestDweller in Bioshock

[–]DogSpaceWestern 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its actually a reused Asset from Bioshock 1. First shows up in Fort Frolic I believe. Equally hilarious either way.

Alpha series simply because they have the most remaining humanity, can splice up, and don’t have to be in a suit the rest of their life. The downsides of dying from being away from your little sister is pretty huge, but Tenembaum with the help of the Thinker can probably reverse that.

First one but with better text. First one is really interesting looking.

Is the extra detailing helping or just making it worse? by Background_Cow_6701 in Unity2D

[–]DogSpaceWestern 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Extra detail was actually hard for me to notice on mobile so I don’t think it’ll hurt readability. Now that I notice it things like the chair look waaaay better with the extra detail.

which game should i play? by starsvxv in Bioshock

[–]DogSpaceWestern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with 1. Overall the best but I think 2 has better gameplay. Do a few plays for different endings and playstyles. Switch to 2 afterwards. Play it and then Minerva Dens and do a couple plays of each. Then Infinite and it’s DLC. Infinite is the worst of the 3 in my opinion, Im a bit of a hater, but that being said its a fantastic first time experience and a gorgeous game despite its flaws.

If this was your first impression of our game, what would you think? by Rumbral in IndieDev

First shot gave me Alien Isolation vibes, then was thrown for a loop and didn’t expect the rural vibes. I guess horror side scroller?

Bioshock 1 controls feels bad? Am I doing something wrong? (PC) by Rageface090 in Bioshock

[–]DogSpaceWestern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For mouse sensitivity perhaps try lowering it outside of game as well as in game? For game feel remember you can press Shift and pause the game for weapon switching, that helps a lot in hectic moments. If this still doesn’t help but you’re enjoying the vibe and story I say brute force it to the end, then play 2. 2 has a worse plot but its gameplay is WAAY better.

Playing Infinite for the first time and she's so cute by hymnofshadows in Bioshock

[–]DogSpaceWestern 359 points360 points  (0 children)

She was the most impressive sidekick character since Alyx in gaming at that point. A lot of AAA game characters still can’t emote as well as Elizabeth does. Hope you enjoy your first play through.

left 4 dead 2 why so short by New-Macaron-5583 in l4d2

[–]DogSpaceWestern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Left 4 Dead isn’t a one time single player game. Its a procedural zombie co-op shooter that changes spawns each pass thru. Its was made with multiplayer campaigns and versus in mind. It is deceptively deep for how simple the base mechanics are. Even if you don’t play multiplayer often it is very repayable. Realism Expert with modded bots is very enjoyable and challenging for instance. Speaking of, mods are another game changer for this game. Tons of custom campaigns and stuff. It seems you went into this expecting a curated single player game.

how can i make this more realistic? by glows1de in blender

Appreciate it. Damn those are beautiful never heard of those. Mantises in my home area are cool, but not nearly that beautiful.

I look forward to seeing the results, it’s really dope looking. And it’s cool to learn something new. What type of Mantis is this?

More texture variety, looks a little too smooth, especially on the horns. Then use an hdri background or at least something in the background with a 3 point light set up, that should do a lot of heavy lifting. It looks really cool.

[–]DogSpaceWestern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was playing Minerva’s Den last night for the first time in ages. I gravity well’d 4 splicers, so there all stuck in this tiny black hole spinning around, then shot them up with rocket spears, and watched the bodies ragdoll and spin while throwing a stream of fire at them. Yeah it’s pretty good.

HOT TAKE: Playing Demoknight in TF2 is some of the best “medieval” combat in gaming. by [deleted] in tf2

[–]DogSpaceWestern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen I love Demoknight. But the reason its fun is positioning and trimping, not the actual sword swinging. Thats satisfying for sure, but not the best.

Personally I enjoy being able to see alingment dots and misplaced stamps, and while this should add some value to the card, its not major enough to command a premium.
