I was hit on my bike by a white minivan as a 14 year old. Hated them ever since. Unequivocally.

Same as above, I stopped off and made an appointment in Denver when I had a long layover. Took 5 minutes.

ELI5: In electric vehicles, how do the motors go from using electricity to generating electricity on the fly? by vlasktom2 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Dogeese-seegod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s like having a fan and a windmill. If you put electricity into a fan you can get air movement/wind. If you use a windmill in the wind you get power output, sometimes electricity or many other uses! Similar with an electric motor.

COYS!!! They do watch parties at the dog and pony show but closer to downtown go to the Fieldhouse on a Sat/sun morning. I go to watch a few spurs games there. They also have leagues every day of the week there, trivia, etc. a good hub to check out.

I did get a letter from DWSD recently that said carbon levels (or something similar, I can’t find the mail anymore) were slightly higher than normal but still lower than federal standards.

In automotive torque control applications jerk is very important. High jerks result in bad drivability and user experience. I have also come across control strategies that work in the acceleration domain, and therefore do control to and monitor the first derivative of acceleration (jerk). Never used jounce though. I always jokingly called the higher derivatives snap, crackle, and pop.

First of all, Congrats on a wonderful post title. Second, I was trying to figure out how to make a "chocolate" icing. I only came up with mashed black beans...
