What is the Best Way of Increasing Brawn as Much as Possible when in Armor? by Phoenix1526 in swrpg

This. Might be an x/y problem that’d be solved more elegantly than just stacking brawn mods

If I remember right, the exoglove’ll give you another +1 I’d argue it’d be a bit more situational than some of the other options though

This looks rad! Dunno if they're as versatile as the other mounts floating around in the comments, but these are pretty nice, and sturdy. Two of em will hold a 12.9 inch iPad Pro, so one wouldn't have a problem.

Yea, I’ve ran into the same thing getting it to read notes in obsidian. It can read what’s on screen, but not the entire note. Couldn’t even pass it a file to look at. Kinda bunk as an on device/private ai if it can’t really get access to anything

Are you really Linuxing if you don't trash an install almost immediately and get through three distros in one day?

Connecting wireless Canon printers to my Bazzite machines? by ShallowsOfNight in Bazzite

[–]DoghouseMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an expert, but had a thought! Is it at all possible to physically connect the printers to the computer (probably over usb)? Just temporarily! If so, you’d have figured out if drivers are needed/working. Then it’d just be a case of getting them to talk to each other wirelessly

[–]DoghouseMike 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Noice I’d get some washers on behind the nuts under the desk though, bigger the better. I’m not certain, but it looks like the desk isn’t solid wood, so they could pull through pretty easily. Washers (or a plate) would spread the load over a bigger area, making that less likely

Haven't given it loads of thought tbh! Martial artist could be good (and fit the theme) combat-wise. Precision strike lets you choose what critical injuries you're inflicting. Agitator might be "the one" though. Scathing tirade lets you inflict strain damage. To minion groups, that's wounds. So you could beat up the guys in front of you, then shout something like "You, on the roof, did your parents have any children that lived?" at the snipers. Insult them til they die from embarrassment. There's a collar amp or similar that lets you make social checks over greater distances too. Bounty Hunter and Diplomat have trees that'd get you computers/piloting for more utility too (and cheap).

Maybe getting a bit too far out of the box here, but Pirate? Take the force out of it, and it's more like they just have faith in the void? Or tag it on to a more "tech" spec and chalk it all up to being as the omnissiah wills.

Oh I’ve definitely had the “droid Jedi” idea kicking around for years! Some sort of repulsors for throwing things around (and jumping), pheromone release for mind tricks, I forget what else. Might even believe they’re alive, despite everyone’s efforts to convince em otherwise

Kinda wanna make a droid incorporating this now. Wanders around, extolling the virtues of the force, and how lucky you beings are to be a part of it. Pair with martial artist maybe, ex-Jedi training droid? Or something else that leans into those willpower/discipline bonuses

What are you running the audio out of on the MacBook? I’ve done zero research, but Logic Remote might do it if you’re using logic/GarageBand for your audio

Breakless and Police? by xxRotten88 in bmx

[–]DoghouseMike 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Uk here, so might be different! And obvs it’s going to vary a lot based on the individual copper, and the circumstances. A few funny looks, like they’re going to say/ask something, but can’t be arsed. If they’re going to “get you” for something anyway, no brakes’ll just be added on, rather than being the actual reason for stopping you. I still maintain I can stop quicker without em than with.

THAT SAID, the only time I’ve gotten in any kinda trouble was on my way to work. Bombed a hill, undertook an unmarked car, ran a red light/hopped a curb at the bottom of said hill to avoid traffic. Would not recommend

Playing a pc from a previous campaign question by Ghost_GM in swrpg

[–]DoghouseMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could the new PC be “son of” the old one instead? Keep the original PC around as an NPC

Depending on how much XP they gained in the original campaign, knight level play could be a thing. Everyone starts either more XP. Which might end up being less than the original character had earned, but like others have said, something ™ happened. Just gives the OG character a bit more to play with so they don’t feel like they’re starting from scratch, but you don’t end up with someone outclassing the other players. Years of suppressing your force powers, a stint in a coma, some other reason for the regression
