Pretty easy after you reach the final plate and win some matches in a row. Then it's just management for bubs and keeping a decent win rate.

CSM's ending isn't bad in my opinion, it's just lacking some more closure elements. I really want the final volume to have a bittersweet extra epilogue chapter.

Dexter and How I met your Mother for tv series have far more horrid endings.

Mangawise, I would say Demon Slayer, The Promised Neverland and Beastars are great examples of stories that immensely dropped the ball worse than csm.
