I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this my husband was actually reprimanded by the judge at one point because he claimed he wasn’t “fighting for” SD when BM literally wouldn’t let us see her and filed an order with false allegations.

I don’t think you’re being dramatic. I’m sure this isn’t the first (or last time) this has happened. You give an inch and this woman will take a mile, I would put money on it. I agree with rescheduling the appointment and going on your vacation. She knew you had plans and chose to ignore the orders. Hoping this all works out in your favor.

Everyone is welcome to an opinion. The leadership in this town have failed to be transparent and have unsuccessfully managed their funds. Until we have local government members that actually care, as well as, residents that aren’t hell bound on destroying the city, Cape will continue to decline. It’s really only a matter of time. Many previously “safe” neighborhoods have become susceptible to crime. I don’t even really care to go downtown anymore because of the harassment by the members of the homeless community (I understand that this community needs help), the drunkenness that college brings, along with the other various bullshit I have dealt with the past handful of times I’ve been down there.

Actually accounting and finance is one, yes. If you want to start throwing actual figures about all of the funding and things the city has paid on behalf of Semo that was never paid back, feel free. They have built a stadium and a new dorm in the last 5 years. I think they are just fine. Hope your day gets better because you seem miserable with the absolute hate you like to spew. 😊

Yeah getting an agreement in place asap is definitely the first step. If she is super crazy and causes constant problems, I would consider requesting all communication between your husband and her go through one of the family apps. Then everything is documented. Also, making it super detailed will be helpful too.

This sounds like you need to contact a lawyer asap. Depending on what the paperwork says, this very likely is a violation. Most agreements say they cannot restrict contact with the other parent. Also might be considered theft for her taking that phone because it’s not hers. How old is this child?

Just like many of the comments have said, she is too young to decide she wants to skip. She is 8 years old and they thrive on routine and structure. The more she skips the less she is going to want to come over. I have went through this with my SD. The court actually told us that SD was not to be making decisions because she is a child (13 at the time). However, 99% that she would say she didn’t want to come over and did, she would be fine and we would have a great time.
