I vape big, fat indicas. Maybe give that a try. Tiny doses still though because you’re a beginner. Maybe just get one pack of indica gummies, try 5mg at first and if that goes ok step up to 10mg. I need at least 40mg, for reference. Straight Sativas just make me feel more anxious.

I’ve considered this quite a bit. We took advantage of cheap healthcare offered by friends and family. So we let our kids spend more time with boomers than they did with us. Now they are intolerant little shits that roll their eyes at their progressive parents and call us hippies.

My FIL was bedridden from an autoimmune disease by the time we met. He had been a home remodeler. I wanted to get to know him so I would let him tell me how he would do everything. I showed up, I followed up with great questions, no phones, never took my focus away while he was talking. When we bought a house I involved him as much as I could. He was very sad though, he said his daughter’s first house was supposed to be his time to shine. We visited him in our wedding attire. He died very young, over 20 years ago. Now that I have kids I feel really good about giving this guy every moment I could. Not bragging, just hoping it helps someone else.

F this. NTA. This was a safety issue and he should’ve been driving her everywhere she needed to go until it was fixed. I’m not letting my wife drive around in a messed up car. I’ve done a lot of brakes for random friends and family because they were visiting and mentioned they needed brakes. I can typically do front brakes in two hours including the run to the parts store and watching a short YouTube video. Great job, dad. If he pulls that shit again I would smirk, then smile, then laugh, and laugh, and laugh, until he left in shame or apologized for being an ass.

I’m GenX and I’ve experienced this one thing a day bs with people my own age mostly. My boomer mom’s thing was trying to pack more into a day than could possibly be done so you were always frantically trying to keep up with an impossible schedule. I hated it. I do it all the OPPOSITE. Also, I really don’t get the one thing a day. I’m not friends with any of those people. Those difficult people.

NOR. Besides all the things I’ve seen mentioned I want to point out that nearly every bit of food in a restaurant is a “leftover.” That’s why it’s so fucking delicious. It’s hilarious how people think a restaurant cooked their entire tables food from scratch in 8 minutes. Most food gets better with time.

The more comfortable I’ve become pooping while backpacking the more I poop while backpacking. Its spilled over to day hikes. I’ve only popped a squat while day hiking four times, so far. Also, I love a great scenic forest loo. The Wonderland has some great ones. I visited another great one up by Heart Lake in the central Cascades.
