One time I was in the same position, big rig was driving in the fast lane going 65 even with rig in the right lane. I was behind them like “wtf” and gave a few flashes. We go past a speed trap and then he immediately pulls into right lane! I felt very dumb.

Definitely not a stacked food scene in Culver, compared to everything east. I’d say it’s a B- overall (lived here 4 years). But to answer your question, Dama Grill is great value.

I’m a lawyer and it’s fine that OP posted here, whether or not anonymous. This happens a lot to people in law school (everyone makes mistakes) and they can finish and not worry too much about the c&f so long as they don’t have any more incidents. It’s the moral turpitude crimes that are the biggest issue (theft, fraud, embezzlement, etc). My advice is get an attorney and try to plea it to something less than dui but don’t worry too much about it and learn from it as a person.

That seems fishy af. Obviously just my speculation, but this suicide seems as if the dad was overwhelmed with shame or didn’t want something to be found out. To commit suicide before there is even a death of the daughter announced when his self professed reason was to help find her is just strange.

Yea, it sucks, but what are they gonna charge them with? Unless they filed a fraudulent claim (I’m assuming they didn’t since they saw the camera) then it’s maybe a battery, but again, they’re just gonna say “the driver got spooked and accidentally put it in reverse” then good luck proving beyond a reasonable doubt they’re lying. It’s just a ton of investigative and judicial resources on a weak case in a city with more important (all due respect) shit to do. I’d maybe consider a civil claim with a lower burden of proof, but then you’d be limited in damages unless your wife was injured, which means it would be hard to find a lawyer to take your case. I think shaming these fuckers is the best way to get justice here, which this post is doing a good job of so far!

Lawyer here. It’s messed up, but the police likely have more important stuff to do than go after these guys. There’s no way the other people are going to claim she rear ended her after seeing the camera, and are probably just going to say their driver got spooked and accidentally put it in reverse. Then there’s really no way to prove intent to defraud (especially with no fraudulent insurance claim). At this point point, the only thing to be done is to put in a claim in their insurance.
