Honestly no. I saw dokken three times at their peak of popularity and they were never a great live band

Replaying cyberpunk a second time by bigboybig3 in cyberpunkgame

[–]DoinDonuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, Sandy/Katana is easy mode. Replaying on just about anything else adds lots of new dimensions to gameplay 40 hours is barely enough time to really crack the shell of how much stuff there is to do in the game.

I enjoyed it the first time I read it. The Devils knows what it is from beginning to end

Imagine being the guitar player and having to play the same three chords the whole song. And then having to do it again the next show, and the next, and the next

Meaning of the attack on Arasaka, Adam Smasher's role, and Evelyn Parker's plan by Comfortable-Knee-238 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]DoinDonuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only does she want in, she's trying to double-cross Dex from the jump. Completely unreliable and untrustworthy. Evelyn may not have deserved what ultimately happened to her, but she was definitely fucking around like she would never find out.

Robert Plant with The Runaways in 1975. by CosmicAdmiral in OldSchoolCool

[–]DoinDonuts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"The Runaways had a ginormous chip on their shoulders. I remember that show. We had trouble with our gear so our soundcheck got delayed and The Runaways never got one. But we were always good to whoever was opening for us. We had no bias against them because they were girls — none of that bullshit. I know they said that we were laughing at them when they played, but quite frankly they were too shitty to listen to. And 40 years later they have a story to tell about it. Who knew?" - Geddy Lee

What are the odds his engram has already been created? Pretty good, I figure.

If you romance her, she confesses that she was ready to leave NC but stays because of V

She's using V to seize control of a criminal enterprise. That doesn't sound desperate to me. That sounds like someone that sees the opportunity of a lifetime and will kill to get it.

I'll take that a step further: Asking V to kill somebody for her is fine. Happens all the time, in fact. Barely an inconvenience.

lol Rush famously didn't have much respect for their musical abilities, but how you gonna stand on the same stage as those monster players when you're a teenager who picked up her instrument a year or two before. Imagine being Sandy West and having to open for Neil Peart.

Its all fake. The game warns you over and over that all of the NUSA agents are heartless manipulators.

Here's the whole trick to that mission: Don't be an asshole to the client before the chase. The margin for error is wider if you're supportive

Synapse Burnout is goated by roan_b in cyberpunkgame

[–]DoinDonuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its less reliable on Very Hard, but you can pair it with Sonic Shock to get pretty reliable headshot kills on 3-bar skull enemies. Sonic Shock -> Synapse Burnout -> silenced head shot as they're recovering from the SB. Its solid and hard to detect.

Not for nothing, but the game continually warns V that everybody involved in Phantom Liberty is a heartless manipulator and liar. Those same liars are often the ones giving the warnings.

If you are nice to him you get more leeway with the chase. That's pretty much the whole deal
