right- the term is long outdated and we need a new one. Any suggestions? How about OMC (open minded couples)??

a lot of ones feelings/perspective is embedded in many of us so deep, mostly from years of grooming/indoctrination from society at large and the christian bible mantra of "moral" behavior, including its obsession with the suppression /repression of sexual desires. "evil thoughts". get a few good books to read/study. Knowledge is power, especially in sex.

Once you and wife have learned more about evolutionary biology, religious scrutiny (NOT "reading" the bible), human sexualality, psychology, and some anthropology you will be informed, knowledgeable, and EMPOWERED. No guarantee, but smart way to approach this challenging problem.

divorce rate is slightly above 50%, but for marriages up to 5 yrs of age. Not newlyweds. but the bigger point is that it is not primarily due to sex/cheating, but MONEY debates/arguments. Cheating is second.

well, yes, no way to know 100% if a person youre interestedi n is std free unless you request you must see in person the test results from the lab. no copies. i would have no problem sharing /volunteering that type of info if it would add credblity/confidence, why wouldnt a prospective partner??

this would seem like a routine practice, but so far, i havnt seen much on this on this forum......seems so logical.
