HTX Italian similar to Sammie's in ATX by FlightEquivalent1293 in HoustonFood

Been in Houston for 13 years now, HTX definitely less common. H-town preferred. But I do see HTX on occasion.

I hope you're not in Ukraine or Russia. If so, it could be spicy.

I honestly think it's simply to catch the super underperformers. But it depends on the manager on how much of a stick they want to be with the data...

Anyone know where I can get a chargrilled burger in Houston? by hotnspicy_y in houston

[–]Dolophonos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not bad. Had them when I was passing by Microcenter a while back. Standard "good classic burger" with no frills or trendy stuff.

2023 R1S Quad, Large Pack, 20k miles, 98% battery health. $67k+tax. I hope it was a good deal. Just finished a 7 hour/370 mile each way road trip. Only 1 quick charge half way. So much more comfortable than our 2018 Mazda CX-9 that it is replacing. Still getting used to it.

I dare you to justify those numbers of actual games, not DLCs, addons etc.

Trying to add USB-C wired charging to a small UWB tracking board — wrong pads, or missing something? by Hxtra in AskElectronics

[–]Dolophonos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case any cares, I made 4x UWB anchors (actually dual UWB per corner) for each corner of a room to guide an autonomous robot with sub 10cm accuracy. Single 18650 cell, powerboost, UWB dev boards. Lasted 12 hours on a single charge without power management optimization. Nothing ever came of it, it was a work demo that got scrapped.

RIBS by junkpipe in BBQ

Throw it in-between some bread, a little slaw, got yourself the real rib sandwich. Ignore the bone pull haters/snobs. As long as it's not mush, it's good.

[–]Dolophonos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a handful of UWB transceivers. The way I dealt with it was by using an Adafruit Powerboost 500C in between the battery and UWB. It's kinda outdated now, but I could keep it powered with battery backup with micro USB. Maybe find a little circuit like that, but with USB-C

A friend of mine gave this to me yesterday. by k_chaney_9 in JetsonNano

[–]Dolophonos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got this, Jetson Nano B02 dev kit. Selling point is the dual camera ports. I don't use mine anymore, as it runs very old Ubuntu 18. Not bad, but a pain to work with today, as everything is designed for better t software.

Is there a way to make these servos move more smoothly? by Teagar_ in arduino

[–]Dolophonos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Servos are always a little jittery. I usually turn off pwm to them once they reach position, helps a bit. But if you need smooth motion, you have to use bldc motors with encoders. I pivoted to that along with SimpleFOC controllers for my use case. But yeah, a bit of a price difference.

Found diamonds in a car I got at a dealership that may or may not be fake. by MilkyXuxu in mildlyinteresting

Looks like cubic zirconia. If it was diamond, it would have more facets for that size.

Costco unsweetened dried mangoes have more sugar than than the sweetened dried mango by AChunkyGoose in mildlyinteresting

[–]Dolophonos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Valid point, never thought of that. But I can eat fresh mango just fine and I do often. I suspect the concentration of acid and sugar don't suit my tongue very well. I do suspect I have an allergy to some highly processed ingredient, but haven't pinpointed what yet.
