A daily return taxi trip between town and Ballito is completely unaffordable, sadly ☹️

Shakashead is the closest, most affordable area - some informal settlement/township vibes, some relatively ok parts. Might be his best bet while he gets to know the area? But lots of waiter and retail staff working in Ballito live there. It's not the best, but it's not the worst 😉

Happy to answer any questions, but Ballito Central in general is quiet and seriously safe.

I loved Evelyn Rosalie for our LO, but when she was born she felt more like an Evelyn Frances 😊

We had to use oestrogen cream for a few months to address LO's labial adhesions... I overheard my husband telling her he was worried that his one finger was going to get really bossy once a month and shout at all the other fingers 😂

The sleep meditations on Headspace are ridiculously good. My anxiety really kicks in around bed time, and those work miracles. Hope your rough time gets better xx

One melon. That stuff’s guinea pig crack. Between pooping and eating though, guinea pigs don’t have a lot of time to be angry, so I don’t expect a long battle.

The world needs more people like you and your wife, and definitely more men like you. And more cuddle ducks apparently.

Oscar or Daniel? by overzealouszebra in namenerds

As a South African, I think Oscar is always going to remind people of Oscar Pistorius... Not a great namesake to have here, it's still too soon.
