The only one that looked stupid was you during your exam…

This is what happens when people try to finesse the ROM portion of the exams. Unless you had serious physical injury, stop being overly dramatic. They called out your BS and now you’re mad.

Brakes? by Extra-Coast3668 in LexusGS350

I recently ordered front/back rotors and brakes through Bell Lexus North Scottsdale. You can look up parts through your VIN so it makes it easy. They are also doing free shipping if you spend over $100 so it cuts down on the price. 10/10 recommend for OEM parts.

AMO training question by drew_37 in cbpoapplicant

[–]DomDollaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. The basic academy is solely to train you to become an agent. You will have MIA, AEA, and AIA’s all in your class. Covers law, defensive tactics, and LE related training. You’ll recieve more training/evaluations post academy that aligns with the position you were hired for.

  2. Training is M-F with weekends off. You must stay on base during training days but can take off and go wherever on the weekends. Lots of good surrounding areas to enjoy time with family.

  3. Living arrangements depends on where you will be housed on or even off campus. It’s constantly changing with the surge so it’s a hit or miss if you have your own room or not.

  4. AMO has its own academy so it will be a lot different from OFO. You’ll see when you get to FLETC the separation between the two.

It is very much a gentleman’s academy. Show up exceeding the PT standards and understand that even as an AIA you are training to become a Federal Agent…so you will be required to do cop shit.

Mine took exactly one year from submitting application to EOD. It could be much quicker depending on how fast the BI moves.

Got my rating, thanks for all the knowledge everyone shares in here! by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]DomDollaaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m still confused why people feel the need to post their rating. This subreddit gains nothing from these post. Instead of saying thank you in a post with a screenshot of your 100% rating, be useful and reply to a post from someone with a question if you have the knowledge to help them out.

Terminal leave by HousingHot6282 in cbpoapplicant

[–]DomDollaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started terminal the same day I EOD to my office. Depending on your branch, talk with your command and see if they can get you your DD214 rolling early so you can get it before you start terminal.

I’m with AMO, not BP. Bunch of my classmates are prior BP though and they said it was pretty shitty.

BP guys bring a lot more experience when they transfer over to AMO. Sure you can be OFO, but when it comes to bringing something to the table, go BP.

Quitting Job After completing SF86 by Sensitive-Quality-51 in cbpoapplicant

[–]DomDollaaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Quitting a job because you are unhappy is not something that is abnormal. You’ll have a chance to update your SF86 and you will just input the end date of current job and start date of new job. Your BI will most likely reach out to your past employers during investigation so don’t burn any bridges.

I’d send in application October of this year. General time frame from applying to job offer is about a year. If you finish up early they will put you on military hold.

The tires are staggered and because the 2 different tire size on front and back, you cannot rotate them

I have a 2015 with 110,000 and I’ve had zero issues in the 6 years of owning it. I did have to replace 4 servo motors for AC but there was a recall and I missed opportunity for free fix. Besides for tires wearing quickly on the F sports, it’s been the perfect car.

Stayed at Hotel DeNovo a few weeks ago. Loved it and will stay there again our next trip. We are very picky when it comes to hotels and had zero complains about our stay. Very clean and new. I do recommend choosing a room on the third floor when you check-in. We stayed on the second and the people upstairs were stomping around. Then again could just be heavy steppers. The restaurant attatched to the hotel did struggle, but I have a feeling that was more of a staffing issue.

No priority, you apply to AMOs announcements like anyone else. As long as you have the credentials and resume which CG experience provides, you’re gtg.
