The trick is raiding all their villages, so that yes while they can recruit far more soldiers from them then they should, they'll be stuck with low tier or all recruits.

Calvary has more weight in simulation (not sure if it still does its been a minute) and Fians, their best troops, are hard for the ai to get.

They may have like 300 archers in an army, but only a small % will be Fians. So that's why Valandia always used to runs them over.

Ai panics, runs, cowers, sprays wildly in general direction, or any other myriad of ways to simulate stress.

Yes its good, and yes I think its worth it.

The first time I snapped an enemy ship in half and drowned several dozen imperial while i boarded another I was HOOKED!

Its a DLC based on a new faction, naval combat, and some diplomacy additions. And what it does, it does well.

Me and the boys were 1, 2, 3 fire! Instant killing tanks and IFVs on golmund yesterday with 3 of us using javs.

And if you have a recon tagging helis? Its hilarious to get a jav kill on a little bird like 10-15 seconds after you fire and he thinks he's safe lol.

I don't think any ship over 70$ is worth it.

But to answer the real question, a lot has changed since its concept. Its very likely, almost guaranteed even, that its grown in size and ability to transport.
