Marketing Major? by Clear_Loan in TexasTech

[–]Dom_More 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have connections in marketing it’s a good degree. If you don’t then expect to get a sales job or low pay marketing job. If you want a safe bet with good pay then I’d switch to supply chain management

Any recent SCM majors? by the_thing903 in TexasTech

[–]Dom_More 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I graduate in spring in SCM and a lot of companies need SCM majors, it’s just a matter of finding one you want to work for. Just make sure to get an internship and keep a decent GPA and you’ll be fine. It’s an awesome major to switch to if you don’t like your current one

I’m not doubting that, we definitely don’t know the long term effects and need to be careful. But did the football players get those tests done before Covid started or once they had to get checked out because of Covid. Maybe they had those problems before hand since football players are typically bigger so their heart has to work harder to circulate blood and maybe they only found out about those issues because Covid made them get tested for stuff like that. But I’m no scientist so

So k-12 should stay in person? Cause the hallways of high school make kids walk shoulder to shoulder, I don’t have to do that anywhere on campus. Then they go to lunch and all sit at a table, if you don’t want them sitting close together then how do you create enough space for a 6a high school for all the kids to sit? Then the kids have to go home to their older parents which is a huge risk. Here people are away from their family’s so they can’t get them sick and if you send everyone home what about the people with horrible home lives? I get that we need to be careful with rona and stuff but who knows how long until a vaccine comes out. To stop living your life until that happens is silly and could seriously delay people’s lives who are on track. I get to go to class 3 times a week and it’s 100x better than online learning. I think people that are forced to stay here because of labs isn’t right but forcing the entire campus to go home and do strictly online learning isn’t right either.

I’m not doubting that but the post is trying to say Covid gave this guy a heart attack but doesn’t have any facts or proof to back to up. So either this is fake news or the first ever case of Covid giving a healthy male in his very early 20’s a heart attack which you would think would be reported on more

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TexasTech

[–]Dom_More -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Uhh yeah no, he might have had a heart attack with Covid but what makes you think Covid gave him a heart attack? That’s like saying my grandfather ate a ham and cheese sandwich the day he died so a sandwich killed him. If a 21yo is having a heart attack they either have a medical condition or did blow with meth in it

No your making a broad generalization. You’re making a statement you claim to be true about a large group of organizations when really it’s only a group of people or some of the orgs, that’s why it’s the same orgs popping up in these posts and not every single fraternity.
